God you have NO idea! It's been Hell - split Aug 08 - since found out he's had a girlfriend for at least 3 and a half years (before we even moved into this house) - you do the maths! Gritting my teeth to avoid conflict has been the hardest part but hopefully is working - if I'm nice, he's nice etc. and i'm in such a precarious financial position I can't afford to upset him. I think even you would have been shocked! Have you ever seen an M3 that looks like its about to roll on its side as it comes hurtling towards you like a bullet! The caterham looked a lot more in control. I don't know if they were together or not but I expect i'll see them in the morning blended into a tree somewhere!

Had quite a nice drive home tonight, all country roads, sunny, got a chance to put my foot down a little bit in places, 6th Gear experience week at Elvington so get to pass lots of nice supercars on the way............THEN, flying around a corner and coming towards me half on my side of the road at a speed i have NEVER witnessed on that sort of road was an M3 closely followed by a Caterham. I nearly wet myself, they scared the living hell out of me! The M3 was totally out of the guys control and lurching all over the place - I reckon if I'd been a bit further on and going around the same bend they'd have pulverised me! The guy in the caterham even had a little leather biggles type cap on!

I've been a member for a good 9 months or so and was lurking for a while before then. BLASPHEMY! I meant Matt but count yourself in!

As a point of interest - I'm using an online estate agent housenetwork.co.uk I thought i'd give it a go as it only costs £495 plus VAT as opposed to approx *cough* £6K if I went with a high street agent!!!! They do everything except have a shop window and produce glossy brochures......

Following on from BM's parking adventures post........just wanted to show you how it is where I work. They are all TERRIFIED to park near me! I only get another car next to me if the car park is over flowing. A colleague actually said to me the other day that someone at work said they dread the only spare space being the one next to me as they don't want to park there! Love it!

I don't think you should be disabling it. I looked in the manual the other day when i had my nephew in mine. There was a load of back covering waffle about not taking an under 12 in the car as children should be in a back seat. It then said if you have to, use an approved front facing child seat and put the seat as far back as possible. So do NOT disable the airbag.

Thanks for the comments. The house was totally renovated from top to bottom and there's still lots to do in terms of the outside really. I was going to grow some stuff up the front of the house to try to hide its ugliness and the garden needs landscaping, drive re-gravelling and garage doors painting etc etc etc. BUT i've lost the will to live with it now after being stuck in it with my ex for the last 20 months, and I have no money to do anything else. My next house will probably be as big as my garage is now but it will be just for me alone which is the whole point of the sale! I can't bloody wait!
