similar thing happened to me - my debit card was used twice at some American place - a small amount first time - probably as a test then a larger amount of about 100 quid. did you sort your ipod out because that has a similar reset thing. flick hold switch on and off - press menu and select at the same time for several seconds until apple logo appears. This should unfreeze it.

switch it off at the mains and leave it for 10 minutes. Plug it in again and turn it on - press sky button on remote or sky guide button and the welcome to sky channel should be displayed. It usually works and just resets itself. If not you'll have to give them a ring - they're usually pretty good.

Just double checked - ours was £1300!
