  5. http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/Stor ... ZwodV0lNcQ this is it. I paid about 12 quid from halfords including to good quality microfibres. I've just seen someone selling it a lot cheaper on ebay. Edit: Lexx
  6. if anyone can afford my hourly rates i will gladly clean their car!
  7. Being in the forces in Germany, we're required to de-register with DVLA and register with British Forces Germany Vehicle Licensing and therefore our vehicles need to be compliant with euro-spec cars. Pain in the arse to be honest. big time! maybe you should have got a zed from a german seller and then sold it when your posting ended!

    slow puncture?

last week when i checked my tyre pressure one of the rears was really really low. I put it back up and over the last week it has gone from 35 to 25 so has slowly lost pressure. I'm thinking slow puncture or dodgy valve - either way will have to go and get it looked at tomorrow now! More hassle!
  11. I've just spent the afternoon cleaning the zed and thought i'd try something new i bought last week which is auto glym aqua wax. You put it on when the car is still slightly wet then dry it off. I thought it would be like a quick detailer but it wasn't. It contains carnuba wax. Its a lazy person's in between wax really but the car looks really good! I would recommend it!
  12. i'm probably being a bit thick here but why do you need to change your lights at all? Is it dependant on how long you are staying there and therefore registering your car over there? My parents live in france and although they've now got a french car i've not heard of anyone having to do anything similar.

  21. Hey Ming, where've you been? :bye:
  22. I see Pieman has used the 'phone a friend' option. I'm also disappointed at the quality/quantity of snacks on offer! The real answer to this problem is obvious..............where is Liz? She can provide that many cans on her own!
  23. god that's harsh! the differences are well documented on this forum if you do a search but basically its the same car, same servicing, same parts. The differences are in the different spec levels but a jap version ST is the same as a UK version GT. There are more variants in between on the jap car and some of the lower spec cars can still have nearly as much as the higher spec cars due to the amount of optional extras available. There are a few little things that will always be different like square rear plate space in bumper, no headlight washers (thank god) and the light stalk and wiper stalk the other way around but that's really it. Just go for the best you can afford for the money uk or import. Imports can be harder to insure although I haven't personally had a problem and use Bell insurance. oh and
