  1. This plugs into the socket in the centre arm rest and enables you to fully use the built in phone functions of your car. It will work with any blue tooth enabled phone

  2. Well, after wanting to sell my car due to investment possibilities, it seems thats now not going to happen as my mrs has dropped the biggest bombshell possible and shat on me from a great height. So to cut a long story short, we're splitting up, selling the house and I need to sell the car to raise some cash.

The car is a UK 04 plate GT, in chilli red ,it has rays alloys (could do with a refurb) Brembo brakes, heated leather electric seats, electric mirrors, electric windows, xenon headlights, built in satnav, bose 7 speaker stereo, carbon front bumper insert, carbon nismo A pillar garnish's, Z badges front and rear, home made tonnau, cruise control, hands free phone adapter, stubby arial, reverse parking sensors & a spills grounding kit. The tyres are nearly new as are the brake pads.

Because the car has been mainly used as a tourer, ie virtually always in 6th gear on the motorway, the engine feels really tight & smooth, with no rattles etc

I put the car through its first MOT last week and it passed with no problems at all, it also has 11 months road tax.

The paint work is gleaming, but the bonnet and front bumper have the stone chips you'd expect, although at first glance they arn't that visable.

The car has now 69000 miles on the clock, hence the price, but you'd never know if you drove it.

If your one of those people (like I was) who wants a great example, but the pocket cant strech to £21k+ , then this is the one for you. I'm looking for £15250 for it, as I need a quick sale

  3. I realised the resale when I bought the car. I origionally planned to keep it a few years. To be perfectly honest, when I was considering buying it, the mileage thing did start to worry me , but after driving it & finding out its history I decided that the engine had probably had less stress than a "town car" with 20k miles. The previous owner had it for about 2 1/2 years ,and the mileage (66k) was 99% 6th gear motorway driving. I've done 3000 in the last six months and its always felt like I've had a brand new car

    Thanks for your comments Sarnie

    cheers

  4. I've got an opportunity to invest in some property, but would need to sell my car to meet the full amount of the funding I need, so I'm seeing if there would be any interest in my car.

I've had it less than 6 months and I'm the second owner, the first being a business man who drove all over the country everyday while he leased it, hence it has had no expence spared on its upkeep .

This is just to get some reaction and to see if theres any interest at the moment ,and I'll let you know if this is definately happening within the week.

feel free to leave + or - comments

heres a few pictures of the car

  5. The job is interesting & I get new challenges with it all the time. Its still a very competetive job as theres always lots of freelance grips applying for the same show, so it takes a while to get you're name around and to find a good Director of photography & camera op that trust you 100%.

As for rates, if it was a full time job, it would be a 6 figure salary, but being freelance I only work about 6 - 8 months of the year. I probably could do more, but I'm not greedy & at 60 + hours a week theres only so much you want to do. I've just won a contract which starts shooting 11th June until 23rd November which I'm pleased about as its a show I've done for the last 3 years

    Cheers

Do you get much work out of YTV?

I do get quite a lot off them. My next contract is with YTV :D , but I also work for whoever will pay (slag) so I've worked for quite a few companies, BBC, Rollem,YTV , Intermedia etc and also done music videos, commercials & corperate films

  7. whats a key grip?

Basically every peice of equiptment that is used with the camera to get whatever shot a director wants, is my responsability.

I build tracks, operate dollys, build & operate camera cranes. build rigs and attatch cameras to cars, motorbikes, helicopters etc.

I'm also in charge of the safety of the camera operator, so I fit him with harnesses and say if the shot can be done or not.

So when you see a film or a tv show and think "how did they get a camera to do that" thats my job

This was a rig I build for a car that was to be rolled down a cliff side, the car was completely trashed, but the camera & footage was able to be retrieved in 1 piece

This was to be a point of view shot of a girl who tried to commit suicide (obviously just for TV)

  8. do you think there should be any ?

I've bid on a couple of parts off ebay, but when I knew another 350z-uk.com member was bidding I've made sure that I've kept away from it and let someone else have it without starting a bidding war and pushing up the price. I've also had it go the other way round, that when I've bid on something, others haven't bid.I've even retracted bids when I knew I was bidding against someone else off here

But I've also watched things in the ebay section turn into a bidding war.

So, should we have this etiquette on the site, or is it everyman for themselves?
