***REDUCED IN PRICE***

UPDATE:
Just noticed the TV has a Digital optical out socket.
Never knew it had one of those, I've always had it wired to my Amp through phono
The set also runs at 100 Hz
DVD Player is also multi region
-
Gone and bought myself a 50" plasma as a xmas prezzie to me & 'er in doors, so my 100Hz 44" TV is up for sale
Its less than 2 years old in perfect working order & not a scratch on the screen, it has virtual dolby surround/enhanced sound speakers + Subwoofer hidden within the TV enclosure, it also has a region free DVD player built in.
connection wise, it has 3 scarts (1 true RGB) phono jacks, digital optical outputetc
£300 collected as I need to shift it ,its in the way now. Im based in Leeds

can anyone tell me what the little illuminated button is for on the birdview satnav remote sensor next to the screen?
I've pushed it (as you would) but it dosnt seem to do anything
also I cant find the holder for the remote, it says in the manual there should be one
cheers

Picked up my z last weekend and love it to death, its got every extra available (AFAIK) but those reverse parking sensors are just plain annoying. I know the rear visability is crap, so I was thinking about fitting a small reversing camera, that hopefully could be switched on with the power from the reverse light.
I already have the birdview satnav & screen fitted, but if I was to take apart the dashboard, would there be a spare input into the screen for the camera & also would it switch automatically to the camera signal when the camera had power and revert to the satnav for normal driving ?
I dont really want to start taking all the dashboard apart if theres no way this would work.
any advice or personal experience is appreciated
cheers

yep, used to have a silver scooby
, then the Evo VII.
sold the Evo because it was going to cost me 4k for a service, 4 new tyres & insurance. decided to buy a cheap runaround for work , lasted for 6 months until I could find the right replacement
so now got the 350z, not as much power, but a bit more grown up refined fun
some subtle mods planned, but not too much this time

yep, got it in the end after he knocked of a couple of grand, I think he realised (or I persueded him) that he'd priced it way too high if you consider cars available at the moment.
gonna have to put it in the garage for a week though while I'm working away, but when I get back I'll treat it to a days worth of elbow grease & meguirs products
just need rid of the big dopey nissan badges and the big ass ariel now, oh and get this bluetooth thing & updated satnav disc sorted. I was also under the impression tht the sat-nav was touch screen, but it only works with the remote
thanks all for your advice when I origionally asked about this car, it proved invaluable as I spent nearly 2 hours going over it
cheers

well after searching for a car for 6 months , I've finally fallen in love with a 350z
Its not as pokey as my old 360 BHP EVO 7, but comfort and build quality more than make up for it
its an 04 UK GT with (AFAIK) every extra inc satnav. I just need to find out how to sort out my phone for bluetooth (its only got the tiny phone cradle) and I'll be happy
heres a pic, but its bad quality as the car is really chilli red
oh, and if anyone can point me in the direction of an up to date satnav disc, I'd be very gratefull
-
I thought the same, but it turns out he has a crappy camera. The car is actually chilli red
-
went to see the car, but he wasn't prepared to move on the price & it had 66k miles on it, so I walked away.
Thanks all for your help, the search continues
-
thanks for that. I'm reading up as much as possible on the model as I want to go see it within a few hours. I've never owned a car with this sort of mileage so could do with as much help/opinions as possible
is there anything I should be particularly worried about with this sort of mileage ?
cheers

I'm thinking of going to look at a 350z this morning. its an 04 GT UK with everything
I just love the colour
the only thing thats slightly putting me off at the moment is the mileage.. its done 60k
I assume the car would still be under warranty, but would this mileage put you off ? I have the cash, so was goingh to offer him £16500
what do you think

I'm sure it will Mike, but I'm now thinking of importing my own.
Only thing thats worrying me slightly is the tiptronic box. I've had a few jap cars (Impreza ,EVO) but they've always been manual, so I'm going to request a test drive and see how I feel about the tiptronic.. If it all go's well I'll be importing my own very soon
thanks to everyone who has given thier input into this thread
It's greatly appreciated
cheers

well, I was supposed to go see the car at 6:30, but he phoned me at 4:30 telling me he had sold it
pi**ed off is an understatement..
oh well.. off hunting again
-
Thanks for all the info (and the thread hijack) , still hopeing to go see it tomorrow evening. hopefully I'll be a member of the fold soon
cheers

I'm off to look at a 350z on Tuesday night, just wanted to know if theres anything in particular I should look out for.
The car is an 03 GT with UK satnav, brembos, leccy heated leather seats etc, in burnt orange. It has covered 36000 miles and is a JDM
The guy is asking £16k which I think is a fair price
cheers
