  1. But honestly how on earth do they manage to build these things in the sea, and how do you build a strong enough base so deep into the water, surely with the constant movement of waves and currents it disturbs the settlement of the ground to make the base move no?

    Its obvious mate - Weetabix - extra large bricks! :lol: Have you ever managed to remove Weetabix from your plate after its dried on? ....Exactly! ;)

    :lol::lol:

  2. Fantastic pics mate, very interesting job

    +1 stunning. B)

    im a technician by trade,...well kinda, spent 4 years at college doing a HND in electrical&electronic engineering. I was rubbish at maths but good at programming, PLC and hands on stuff.

    Work in an office now doing absolutely nothing to do with engineering 9:30 - 6 :lol:

  3. :rant: had the Z three days and yes....I've got clicky axle syndrome. No, my TVR has never broken down in 5 years (sorry)

    So, i gather from previous posts I have a common Z fault - my local main dealer (Lythgoe Bolton) has said it does two things:

    - first they rotate the drive shafts 180degrees and grease

    - if this doesn't fix they fit new shaft/cv thingies

    sound about right? any comments? anyone know Lythgoe? I spoke to chap called Jim in't workshop

    yeah a couple of people including me have been to lythgoe, there not too bad actually. Sounds about right about the fixes. As far as we know, the clicking doesnt do any harm to the car, just an annoying noise. I ahd mine greased and it never came bakc. Didnt cost me anything as they did it as part of the service too.

    Slightly off topic - For servicing Chorley Nissan are cheaper if your cars out of warranty.

  4. Jay prepare for a bit outlay if you just want the HU display. From what I've seen on a chaps Evo at the Reading meet, you not only need the HU display but also a control box which is normally used to control the other usual pod gauges, and then I think you also need wiring kits. Apparently its not worth it if all you want is HU display unless you have money to burn ;) My mate with his Evo looked into it, I can get prices and details if you want :thumbs:

    didnt know a control box is needed too, if this is the case then think you are 100% right not worth it for a bit of flash gizmo. Ill ask lloyd as think he has had one fitted and will report back later today, to see if worth going through or not :thumbs:

    Let us know how you get on mate, i could be interested in one of these.
