I agree with the above to an extent as Avid is still seen as the broadcast preference to editing, however with budgets being slashed in broadcast and production these days, i think FCP has been climbing a lot. Remember you can edit in HD on FCP and the multicam features are far superior. Also with the whole studio, you can set up your soundtrack, effect, animations and CGI etc and import it to FCP far easier in my opinion. I think for the money and hardware you can get a full edit studio at about half to 3/4 the price of a full avid and still produce amazing results

They sure do, and also they rig the aircon in your hotel room to warm so that you go downstars into the nice cold casino to cool down

Yeah right!!! Its you that wants him to sing careless whisper in your ear not her!!!!! HAHAHA Ive been before mate, to be honest, if you stick to the main casinos and hotels (all of which pretty much have casinos in them) you will be fine and have a great time. Just be aware that there are no clocks and dont follow the exit signs, follow the way you went in to the casino as they will try and play maze games with you to keep you in there longer

I agree with you on that, however there are some amazing guitarists out there still, Dave is one of them, he may not be technical, but still plays with feeling. John mayer at the moment is my favourite guitarists and singer songwriter, his stuff is just amazing! Again im going to see him in a few weeks at Brixton!
