  1. I appreciate all the arguments for not mixing tyres and agree with most of them. The OP, however, is complaining of a dead feel to the steering and I fail to see how mixing tyres can contribute to this. I'm of the opinion that it is more than likely a case of getting accustomed to a rwd car after having a fwd.

  2. Stop milking it Chris.

Yeah, better stop creaming this as I herd Martin goes all sour and moody and starts scratching his bullocks if he sees a load of old bull being written

    Dairy respond to this

  3. so someone explain to me about turning the TC off then if you get stuck, i'm a bit thick when it comes to knowing what to do.........

It's really a case of once you've switched the TCS off the engine power won't be reduced when the wheels spin, so you can give it as much gas as you need but be ready to catch the back end :yahoo:

  4. Hanging the tail out isn't the problem - it's getting decent traction. Like most front engined RWD cars, the zed is light on the back and struggles to get the power down in slippery conditions. Good fun though so long as there's plenty of room :D

  5. BC racing coilovers mate, they are pretty good and reasonably priced. Just finally got mine on last night, the car is now low, and handling much improved, even over the Eibach springs

I went for stiffer springs tho 12/12, which id reccomend, its still not jarringly stiff.

I've seen BCs recommended a couple of times. Anyone had them long enough to express an opinion on their quality?

I've recently had a set fitted to my Evo mainly on the strong feedback they've received on the MLR. Even some of the very powerful cars doing Time Attack have fitted them and are very pleased with the outcome.
