Unbelievable. I had no intenion of buying one of these before I read this but this has just added weight to my decision.

That is is terrible news. It would appear that nothing is safe these days!

Excellent series this. You also get a mix of races, sprints and hillclimbs to test your ability.

Any good quality oil will be fine. Just treat it like a series of mini track days and keep an eye on brake pads wear, tyre wear and change the fluids regularly. On the subject of tyres Toyo 888's are about the best road legal tyre for this sort of thing.

Curborough is possibly not one of the better sprint tracks but it would certainly give you an idea of what sprinting is all about and, as you say, it's not too harmful on the car because you are only doing a lap at a time.

They're out to get you Stan

Great pics Immy. I used to visit Auckland when I was on the cruise ships back in the late 60's - I bet it's changed a lot since then!

If the only desired outcome is more oversteer, then either switch the TCS off or dial in some toe out on the rear. Lot cheaper than changing the diff.

You followed me this morning past the airport and down to Weycock Cross.

Nice pics Immy. I am so envious that your summer is just starting and we are going into winter again!!

Spotted you yesterday around 3.30 pm coming off the A470 at Treforest.

Nowt up with blondes
Quite agree Dave especially when they look like this:

As Dave has already pointed out they are totally the wrong size. If you are happy with Toyo's then why not stick with them, but check out the prices on Black circles and Camskill because they are a lot cheaper than you have indicated you pay for them.
GTR repair bills reach all-time high!

The only problem with that is because each gearbox is individually made it will only work with the engine and transmission it was originally mated to.
