Yeah, I was gong for the initials + yr + ZED , and as Chesterfield says, it'll be personal to the car, but also to me. I would sell it on with the car though as it wouldnt make sense on anything but a Zed. Its £399 all in, which is a lot cheaper than the MY version, which as you say is totally personal to the car.

Both the initials and the MY version are available so it'll come down to price really.. and i'm not sure the MY version is really worth twice the money, but I'm having a think..

Welcome ! I agree... I took a few test drives in a couple of makes before I bought the Zed. But really, it was just to confirm what I already knew... that I wanted one badly...

crikey... just checked on DVLA and they have my perfect initial + correct year + ZED for sale....

so.. so.. tempted !

That is simply stunning.... nice one !

Seeing SimonD's delicious new Z just now and the fab number plate.. it got me thinking about getting a personalised plate myself..

But I really can't decide on a _ _ _ _ ZED or a _ _ _ _ ZZZ !??

My missus used to do the Italian Job (Mini's - obviously) run a few years back.. though I'm not 100% sure on the route, but it may be worth a Google?

why on Earth would you wanna pay £500 for a machine with no games worth shouting about, when you could have been playing a 360 for well over a year on some great games like PGR, COD3, Gears of War etc.. all for less than £300.. ???

I use the K800i and BT adapter combo and it seems to work fine. although i also have the issue of not being able to recognise voice commands on certain roads / over certain speeds due to back ground noise.

Ebay's getting on my t*ts at the moment. still trying to resolve an issue with some numpty who bidded over a grand for my mobile phone.. meanwhile, i've been charged 30 quid final fees....
