Yeah I was going to build a carpc from scratch but then I had a spare laptop hanging around so used that instead, just soldered a couple of wires into the main switch so it switches on and off with the ignition.

At last I've finally fitted the carpc in my roadster. Looks cool and works well. But I don't think it will ever be tinker free.

Can you get hold of a black passenger side sunvisor for a UK 2005 350z roadster. Cheers Diether

I have just had my 1st service done with the local main stealer and when they changed the oil they put in a semi synthetic Total 10w40 not 5w30 as the book. When I questioned them they said this was the recommended oil for the UK. Is this correct or are they just conning me and do I need to get the oil changed. Car has done 8000 miles now and is UK spec. I have had mine in twice now the clicking disappears for a few weeks then comes back, its nowhere near as bad as it was 1st time. They have only been regreasing the shaft has anyone actually got the dealer to replace the axle or is it as the TSB says the only procedure is regreasing.

Thanks guys hoping to spend a bit less than 1600 quid for a sun visor even though it does come with Sat Nav. Will keep a look out on Ebay. Do you know of any spares importers or resellers for 350z stuff. Cheers

Just need the Sat Nav Centre Console/glove box (don’t want the sat nav just the console) not the hinged cover one, but the sliding cover as I am fitting a carpc and can’t fit the screen into the hinged type. Also need a passenger side sun visor.

Thanks for the welcome. I went for the 700TSV XENARC/GAIN LCD Monitor which is actually unbranded as I bought it from a digital-car.co.uk forum member. Looks good and has auto on feature. Just got to get the whole thing integrated now.

Looks good I'm also installing a carputer in my roadster but I'm loathe to take out the Bose stereo multi changer, does anyone know how to get an AUX in to this unit as the Nissan Sat Nav units must be integrated into the head unit but I cant find out how. Also where are you mounting your pc box as so far the only place I can find that has any space is the glove box behind the passenger seat but this has no ventilation. I was looking under the seats but with the heated seat harnesses there is no room. Took the dash out yesterday and the 7" Touchscreen will fit nicely with only a small bit of modification. Using Centrafuse as my integration screen found this to be simplest and most reliable. www.centrafuse.com
