I think she may very well be!!! I disconnected the battery and that seemed to get rid of the ESP lights. The hand brake light was still coming on but only under braking. Somebody advised that that may be an indication that the Brake fluid needed topping up. Off I went to Halfords and bought some DOT 4 stuff (Apparently they don't do DOT 3 anymore as DOT 4 has replaced it?). Topped up my brake fluid and low and behold no lights now at all! I've done about 100 miles since the top up and still nothing! ACE Cheers for all the advice boys!!!!

So can I top up my brake fluid with the standard DOT 3 stuff from Halfords then?

Yeah battery disconnect went ok to be fair, opened the door as advised! I checked the brake fluid and it seemed to be just above half way i think also, to top it up, I'd have to go and order some

No not yet. I checked the brake fluid earlier and its not that. I disconnected the battery earlier and that seems to have stopped the ESP lights coming on. The only thing happening now is that when you brake hard the handbrake light flash up for a second or two Will try the ECU reset thingy and report that back tomorrow

I have checked the brake fluid level and its fine. On disconnecting the battery, how do you do this safely (Yes, I am stupid)? Had a quick nose and it looks a bit dodgy as I really don't want to electrocute myself or damage the car!!!!!

I did that once on the way to work but it cam on again!

Hi Guys, I am very worried about my Zed!!!! On my way to work this morning the 'ESP OFF' light and the skiddy one that comes on when the ESP kicks in both came on and stayed on for the duration of the journey? Also the red handbrake light came on and off a few times as well. This all happened once or twice over the weekend but thought it was a one off. Whats up with my Zed???

Check brake discs and pads, also tyre tread!!! All can be a costly outlay if not checked first. As I found out!!!

You need to buy a phone cradle to attach to the kit that is in the centre consol. There are about 5 cradles about but most are on compatible with 3 yr old phones!!! The best phone imo that is compatible is the 6230i. Its not great but it quite small, has a camera etc Good luck

Im my opinion the best thing to do is wait for the right car/colour to come along. I was adamant that I wanted a Kuro and waited for nearly 3 months for the car I wanted to come along. In the meantime I lost a £500 deposit on a blade that I talked myself into buying just cos I wanted a Zed, but when looking at it I was'nt happy with it and never would of been. I was happy to lose £500 and get the car I wanted! I was prepared to pay £22.5k for my Zed and it was buring a massive hole in my pocket! Then one Saturday morning I spotted a Zed on the Autotrader, Kuro, Sat Nav, 19k miles, Rays and Alezan all for £19995!!!!! I phoned the dealer (He had'nt even uploaded the picture yet!) asap went straight down from Brum to Stansted and came back in my dream Zed!!!So by waiting I saved myself £2.5!!! THE RIGHT CAR AT THE RIGHT PRICE IS OUT THERE - JUST DEPENDS HOW LONG YOU WANT TO WAIT!!!
