  6. Morning Guys, So Sunday afternoon was the pinnacle of my Sunday league teams season. We finished 4th inor division with promotion to the Prem division likely. We also got to the semifinal of one cup and the final of another, which was on Sunday just gone. The team were playing won our division by ten points so we were clearly underdogs. We organised a big **** up for afterwards and with the glorius weather, it was goining to be a great day, win or lose. As player/manager I named myself as a sub. We had an early goal wrongly disallowed and by about 80 mins gone were 3-0 down. With the game over I thought I'd throw myself on for the last ten. A minute after coming on upfront one of my players plays a great through ball over the top for me, I run on to it and with my first touch crash a great volley into the top corner, expertly avoiding a tackle at the same time. Or so I thought. I hit the deck and feel a weird pain in my arm. I look down to see hand virtually facing the wrong way and what can only be described as a new joint in my forearm!! So one minute on the pitch, one touch, one goal and one mangled right arm. Livid. I've been in Heartland Hospital since Sunday now and had an op yesterday on it. Naturally my Mrs went mad at ME for going on right at the end, as if I knew it was going to happen it's taken nearly an hour to wrote this post left handed on an iPhone, so don't expect any frivolous spamming from me in the next six weeks!! Liam

  10. Get a frickin room and then either shag each other senseless or beat the crap out of each other. Either way, it's getting really boring. If you don't, i might have to start another "When will Sarnie post next?" thread to ease the tension
  11. 4 miles at 9k revs to get any enjoyment out of it? Hey ho, you've made up your mind, good luck with it
  12. This is a very salient point. When you have a special car that costs a hell of a lot of money, its sooooooooo hard to separate the urge to drive it every single day and cherish it like your daughters virginity. You get addicted to driving it cos its sooooo good but realise that by doing so you are actually damaging the car/ownership experience due to the additional miles, further depreciation, stone chips etc and each mile is costing you more and more in servicing and consumables like tyres and clutches let alone petrol etc. I promised myself that I'd only drive it on the weekend and buy a second car, i didn't. I set my insurance up to do 5k a year, i did 3k in the first 6 weeks. Its a hard conundrum to decipher. Buy it and look at it in your garage, thinking you could have done something else with the cash or drive it and enjoy it, knowing that with every mile its losing its 'x-factor'........ Personally, in a sadistic way, i like the way Zonda's and the like have to be sent to the factory to be serviced. It adds to the mystique imo. If I could afford a £330k+ car I'd like to think I'd have a few other toys in the garage to keep me occupied for a month or two!
  13. I'm married, sorry. no way all my hopes and dreams are over You moan more than a woman so you never stood a chance anyway

  15. If its a mans room why can I see a pair of 'crocs' in there??????
  16. Just for reference, my deep seated hatred for the S2K is not based on its looks but plenty of driving experience. The looks don't help one bit, but the way it makes you drive drove me insane, i'd get out of the car feeling 100% stressed out having to hit 9k rpm to get it to shift. The low down torque of the zed and the Gallardo suited my personal driving style, and is probably the reason why I hated the S2K and the Ferrai 430 I had as they drive very similarly imo.
