  1. Hello to everyone Holly and I met over JAE this weekend, hope you all got back safely. Was good to meet some of you again after all this time Anyone got a link to my old car for sale? Think somebody mentioned it was/had been on eBay? How did the show and shine go?
  2. Sorry Might be worth emailing comments from here and the MLR to the organises for next year! Will do it when I have a spare 5 mins. Here's mine Val... Carbon side spats/window vents and engine mods galore coming soon, will take you for a spin on the next track outing!
  3. Doh, I left about 2.40 mate! Already ordering more bits now, I need to ban myself from these shows
  4. Good to see some of you again, stand was looking Found this picture of Val on track on the MLR.. Didn't think much of the show to be honest. The stands were spread out too much, was a pain to get to different sections of the track (too many fences/locked gates etc), trade area was sh1te as usual! and the time attack was held at 5pm+ - Some people have to be up early on Monday + a longish drive home Apart from that weather was great
  5. Nice pics and funny idea. Andy how much can you get 245/40/18 in toyo 888 or yoko a048 for? Did add you to msn
  6. Where was your stand?! Holly and I would have said hello but we couldn't find it I was on the MLR stand, saw a few nice Zeds about Was a good day although how bad was the trade area? Seems to have more tat/chav crap each year
  7. Had the same sort of thing with a tit on a basic Elise - was in my van wishing to god I could swap it with the Evo Plenty of these fools about I'm afraid
  8. Got an '06 Kona Cindercone that I use to keep fit for football. Used to race downhill in the national series (was actually pretty good/sponsored etc) and had a Giant ATX-1 DH with 7-8'' travel front and rear, was great fun but 3 broken wrists and collerbone made me come to my senses
  9. Seems like a trend, couple of my old cars were written off too!! Shame really.
  10. Just wondered if anyone had seen/heard about it recently?
  11. I'm going for an Omega next, the Planet Ocean or the Seamaster with GMT option both very very nice watches Would like to keep it but I already have a few others thus can't justify it
  12. Selling my Tag professional 2000 Stainless Steel watch as I'm upgrading. This was bought in May 2003 for circa £700-750 IIRC. Comes with all the booklets, box, case and international guarantee card (stamped Goldsmiths, Farnham, Surrey) etc. There is some minor wear to the strap etc as one would expect but nothing major - I would say it is in very good condition, the box, booklets are are near enough mint. Can mail some decent images if anyones interested. Looking for £270, this is a lovely watch and I'll be sad to see it go.
  13. With this weather I'll let you off polishing it - Will save it for later in the Summer Jap Fest should be good always one of my favs! Was going to go on track although after 1500 miles my semi slicks are already getting knackered so best not
  14. How's everyone doing? Not been on here for a while! Holly and I will be @ Jap Fest, Silverstone june 3rd, Pod end of June and JAE. Anyone going to these shows? Be good to see some old faces again! I'll be on the MLR stand so will have to track you down
  15. Goto Belgium a lot for work. Gents a lovely place, some gorgeous old streets/canals
  16. Had an Alcon clutch on my Makinen, was fine mate so don't worry. Better having stiff foot than an empty wallet every few miles Went to first Evo meet of the year on Sunday, good turn out and fun drive home Ordering some carbon mirrors soon to match the splitter/wheels/spoiler etc.
  17. One less Chavalier on the roads is always good Poor bastard though
  18. Clutches are awful on them, mine has an uprated tripple plated one that should last fine. I had to change the clutch to an uprated one on my Tommi Makinen which is about a £1300 job so not cheap. Just take it easy on the launching and your be fine, presume the 400 has an uprated clutch so you should be fine anyway
  19. Ouch, bumper mangled or a repair job?
  20. Cheers Charlie and nice one You on the MLR? Your realise just how good the 350 is on petrol in no time at all
  21. Thanks Steve. Can't afford the petrol to rag it everywhere! Have had T1R's on the 350z, thought they were fairly good. Always used Potenzas though on my last Evo.
