  1. Sarnie, I'm only just catching up on this - WOW mate, just WOW! Awesome car, stunning looks and a top colour.

I'm am sincerely very, very, very happy for you fella

Now I really need to pull my finger out and come see ya for a catch up!!

  2. I've seen that email going round for at very least the last 5yrs. Hopefully it's true though.

Zedrush, gutted for you. I'd be well peeved at 36 in a 30, as Nixy said think it's very much force dependent on where their "line" is drawn. Years ago I know that Lancashire you could get away with anything upto 42 in a 30, doubt its the same now though.

I'd say worth an appeal, but worst case take the hit mate, if it's your first 3 points then an SP30 shouldn't make any difference to your insurance.

  3. Dan we are always here for ya now, and you can treat us like family, (by the way can I have some pocket money lol) ;)

How about we get a group of us too meet up one weekend and go out on the town near your way, Im due a weekend break from work, and love going to different places Limiter will come, we will get booked up in a hotel near your town get a load of us and go out on the lash (although I dont drink so I will be on semi skimmed milk all night lol)

Beer is a great healer, I'm there for it!!

  4. Sorry to hear this Dan, always a very difficult time.

IMO the staying friends thing doesn't work, tried it a few times and it just doesn't work.

My last ex I was with just short of 5 years, split up and kept in contact initially but it was getting harder every day (as she still had feelings and was on at me to give it another go). After a couple of months I severed all contact and its been far, far easier that way.

I've tried staying friends with other ex in the past too and that hasn't worked either.

Best of luck whatever you decide to do fella :D

  5. Zedrush, is it the Riu you're staying in? If so its awesome, stayed there a couple of years ago. If Henry still works in the bar near the pool (the one that's open late, near the stage), slip him a tip on the first night and he'll well look after you. He also makes a mean Mojito!

Definately also recommend Chichen Itza and the swimming with dolphins - plus the missus will love that

The scuba diving in Mexico is incredible, with great reefs and top fish.

iirc we spent about £400 in 10days which was mostly on trips, all in dollars though. My Sis is out there all the time as she is works on the airlines and she always says to use the dollar - it's worth more to the locals. Cancun isn't really a visit, just looks like an American city tbh. Had a couple of nights out there and not too bad but not great.

Couldn't go to Xel-Ha last time I was out there as had a broken wrist but my mates that went said it was stunning.

Last time I went I stayed at the Moon Palace which was incredible but nearer to Cancun than Playa Car, I reckoned that the sea was much clearer and the beach nicer at Playa Car.

Sure you'll have a wicked time mate I absolutely love the place!!

  6. Sorry guys, just catching up with threads as not been about much.

Was just reminded today that I'm at a corporate at the touring cars on sat so not gonna be able to make it  but at least I'll have free beer

What corporate?? Who didn't invite me?????

You've not missed out mate, don't worry! It's a non mortgage thing (through a mate)
