Jacko replied to mugwump's topic in Spotted or Flyered
Lol..... this is turning into 350zdatingdirect! Get a room! (hi jane btw..... ) -
Guys, does anyone know where I can track down the UK equilvalent for this TSB: http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/Bulletins/Nissan/2003/NTB03-029.htm I have this issue. Its going to be resolved by the dealer but the parts listed do not show up on UK parts system, therefore they are trying to find them. Thought it would be good if I can find them somewhere on a UK TSB?

Wooo hoo!!! Glad to see you guys been keeping this going in my absence and getting the numbers up to the big 20! Fantastic! Really looking forward to it, had the P2 service done today in advance as well. Can't wait to have 20 cars in one line through Wales! Thanks to Liam's and Mike for the bumps with all the details on for the latter people to put down their name. Anyway, just to let you all know that I'll give you all a copy of the route on the day, we kept it together well for 9 cars last time, this will be a bigger test, but its a dead easy route Anyone that hasn't PM'd me their number, then do so and I'll PM you mine back. Those that have I'll reply back now I'm online again! Looking forward to catching up with the regulars and meeting so many new faces! Bring on the sun (i've had a word with the big fella ) -
300 topics to read through! You guys having a laugh? Anyway good to be back (NOT).... but thought I'd say hi. Got back yesterday but was completely shattered after 9 hour flight. Anyway, wanted to pop on and see about Wales. Hope all is well in the Zed world. Did I miss anything good whilst I was on the beach drinking Mojito's

So bl*ody sorry to hear that mate. I hope its not as bad as it first looks and gets sorted cheaply! Don't get me started on what should happen to these sort of people, I mean why? What does that car do to them that offends them so badly?

Wales - The return of Zed: The next big drive out!
Jacko replied to Jacko's topic in Meets, Shows and Events
Right chaps, its getting nearer and I'm about to go off on hols in the next few days so I wanted to post some more details so people can start organising whatever they need to...... The following people are coming so far to the Wales Drive Out: Part II Anyone else is more than welcome, just stick your name down and we can amend the list. Seeing as the route and times worked out perfect last time, then going to keep it exactly the same. Apologies if anyone thinks its a bit early meeting, but as any of the guys that came on the last one will vouch for, it worked great with a nice leisurely start. Apologies again if the meeting location is slightly in the wrong direction for people from coming from south etc, but its a place big enough for this many Zeds and easy to get to. And it gives all a place to get a cup of coffee etc and put faces to names before the day starts! So then, the route will be as follows, post leaving the services: 1) Follow M56 to end, then hang a left onto the A494 towards Mold (via A5117). 2) Follow A494 past Mold towards Ruthin. 3) At Ruthin stay on A494 towards Bala. 4) A494 comes to end at Corwen, turn right onto A5 then left at next lights onto A494 to Bala. 5) At Bala, pull into the car park next to the lake and have a nice break (hopefully wtih some nice autumnal sun! Coolio) 6) Walk back 2 mins into Bala and grab some lunch at the same place as last time. 7) Take the A4212/A470 over the moors to Betws-y-coed (cracking road last time, nice and scenic). 8) Take A5 back out of Betws-y-coed then take the B4501 towards Denbigh 9) At Denbigh, then follow signs for Ruthin on A525. 10) Make way back up the A494 towards M56. 11) Cruise home via M56..... Meeting location and time: Roadchef Chester Services, J14 M56 9am (will wait there for a while etc) http://www.roadchef.com/locations/chester.htm Once again, I know it some of the times and location of meeting may not be ideal, but it's going to be hard with this many numbers to account for all. Please bare that in mind before any comments made about the time or the location! One more thing, last time we all exchanged mobiles so if all on the list who didn't go last time (as I still have those numbers) want to PM me their mobiles then I will PM mine back. At least that way if we get broken up or anyone is late on the day then we have contact....... Looking forward to another cracking drive. Lets just hope for a nice dry day now. As I said, I'll be on hols for two weeks shortly so if I don't respond until about the 10th, then don't worry! For anyone that missed the first days comments etc, then take a look here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1518&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=150 -
The polish isn't designed to move the tar and dead flys, that is what Meguairs "Bug and Tar" remover is for! (its all in the name you see). Seriously, you shouldn't be polishing while you have stuff like that on the paintwork, you should have a nice clean base, ideally with some paint cleanser applied. Have you not read the detailing guides that people have put on here recently! As for the wet look...... I quote myself from previously in this same thread........ but just try buffing it with a absorbant lint free cloth when you have put on a bit.

Mmm heard dubious things about them...... Think the point was that we wanted to try out this supertracker system. Looked good and was a good price, £50 if you needed alignment or £25 for two etc..... That was right wasn't it Liam? So we have..... Jacko, The Minel Andy C Liam's Z Sinbad Max

Nixy! Get that Zed sorted. You'll be fine. I used to have a S2000 and lived out on the moors were there was loads of snow and ice. Always found that it was fine as long as you didn't take liberties in the bad weather. The Zed will be the same, in fact better as its got more torque so you can tootle a bit more...... If you drive with respect in the bad weather, with some decent tyres on (not the bridgestones) then you'll be fine! PS. Mines a daily commuter as well.....

Oooppss...... guess you just missed the brand new set that went on eBay this week for $750! That was from a US dealer so would have shipping on top....... look in the ebay section if you want to see it ..... was a few days back

Jacko replied to Jacko's topic in Meets, Shows and Events
Yeah I can try and find out and give them a call...... things are a bit hectic this week with hols etc but will try. Only problem is I won't know exactly what time, but will give them a heads up and hopefully they will be ok with me letting them know early on the day etc....... I'll see what I can do...... -
Yes! I now have a dedicated car cleaning shelving unit!
-
Aye there were a couple of upgrades reviewing in Evo this month. Think the Graham goode one was about 310bhp with over 300lb/ft or torque...... Its gotta shift thats for sure....
-
Glad you got what you wanted Dorian...... Hope you keep popping in now and again. I mean, who else is going to find all that stuff from the states!
