  1. I made a similar comment on the other board about peeps hogging the lanes, I know they belong to BMW's and all, but hey if there's a big enough gap get over (thought guilty as charged) Speaking of anger management, I was sat at some light near my house on Monday evening, a moped proceeded to zip past me as the lights changed and then swerve across into the left had lane. As I accelerated down the lane next to him he started weaving into my lane (so I beeped him) and back out again? We stopped at the next mini roundabout and he actually started to front up to me from his bike? I just shouted "go steady mate", he then proceeded to rev the crap out of his "very old and crappy moped" (you know the sort I mean, big white fairein, etc) and pull several wheelies and then burn off as I turned left and drove away laughing. Part of me hates feeling intimidated (ie he had a helmet on and i had the roof down) by what could have been a 17 year old ****, and part of me wishes I was in something other than the Z with the top down, then I could have just hit him with the car But then the thought of the consequences sink in too!! But sometimes i just wish there was a copper around when you needed one! Rant over
  2. They don't run at night mate , as 350Znismo said they need the light, though i have seen traffic police gunning at 11pm+ Andy
  3. Well its one week today adn i'm still buzzing, i know we all look back with rose tinted spec's but i think this has to be the most alround fun i've had since my first sports (and Japanese) car nearly 10 years ago when i had an Eunos roadster (MX-5) and that was great. But this well, the porker was a good car, but you always felt like a passenger, the MR2 roadsters i've had were superb but lacked that little extra varooom, the R34 was just an animal and about the best i'd thought i would ever drive. But for sheer "Smile Per Mile" rating (the way i rate all my cars) it's tops, apart from the fact i wish i could stop driving her so much, i've already done over 600 miles (the trip to Liverpool did'nt help), just worried she will be worthless in 3 years as the mileage will be in starship figures Right i'm off for another blat to help loosen her up, can't wait to get over the 4000rpm's, thoug i have a couple of times alreadys Then the dealer did say there already run in? Andy
  4. Sorry to hear that matey, but it will be worth it, i just can't stop driving mine now, i need to invest in a small oil producing state me thinks, and plastic surgery for the grin. Andy
  5. For my sins i'm an IT Consultant and partner in a Web Design/New Media Company. Andy
  6. I clocked the Sunset and a gunmetal westbound about 6pm on the M62 as i was heading back sunny norfolk, i think the gunmetal flashed me. Also got passed by a gunmetal with US spec foglight and stubby out near Kromby on Saturday afternoon, but it was the miss's first drive of her so she did'nt want to keep up with it. Andy
  7. Thanks mate , it's the black pearl one, the lights just made it look a little lighter than it is http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/ ... 33EM-CHRBK Andy
  8. Just grabbed a few snaps while the sun was out Front relectors will be replaced shortly, don't you worry. Z - Badges front and on wheels, stubby arial, silvered bulbs and US spec fog light housing so far. Andy
  9. I have a sub to all 3, but i think i'll only be sticking with JTuner as its a little more mature. The other mags have become a little too filled with Chav's and ladies showing all (not that i don't like attractive girls) but i buy the mags for cars and useful information, i can get girl mags from the top shelf or free online
  10. Thanks for the welcome chaps , i do miss her a lot, but it was good fun and the new GTR will be mine in less than 3 years now which i hope will meet my expectaions. It will be nice to have a little more power back in the 350 though as i'm really missing that!! Andy
  11. Just thought I would introduce myself, I've been signed for awhile and reading through all the posts to avoid asking too many of the same questions , so hello everyone and hopefully I won't ask too much just yet. I hang out on a few Forums, so I may even know some of you??). I'm currently still morning the sale of my R34 so I can get some travelling in. But as luck would have it I'm in the situation to get something a little quicker than the run about i bought to tied me over in the long wait for the new GTR. I've been a lover of drop tops for many years, starting out with an MX5 in 1999, then an MR2 Roadster in 2000-2002, Porsche 986 S for 3 months after waiting almost a year for it in 2003 then an official UK R34 GTR V-Spec, and now another MR2 Roadster.... You can probably see what I mean about convertibles and hope you like the pics. I was having great difficulty deciding on a 350 Roadster or the Coupe, but after my dealer let me drive both, i ordered the roadster , though i'm not a fan of the roadster with the roof up and like most of the drop tops I've had, I normally use a hard top which generally looks better IMHO. Andy
