Cheers chris have you tried cleaning up the hub flange, with scotchbrite discs for example. If the flange is uneven it can cause a wobble. Thanks for pic, anymore takers, come on guys silver with black wheels.

I think it's time for some new wheels as my Lexion 503's are getting on a bit, and I need tyres anyway. I have a blade and I'm thinking black rims with a polished or stainless lip. I've had a bit of a search but nothing really caught my eye, so if anyone could post some nice piccies of a silver car with black rims, I would be most grateful

I recently fitted 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear no trouble fitting within the arches but this would also depend on your offsets went the Toyo T1R route and I'm very happy with all the extra grip.

South coast wheels in southampton might do them for you. Made a good job on my imports and fitted T1R'S for me.

No just how you feel mate. I was looking for a car for my good lady and spotted one in Autotrader main VW dealer in Westbury, I'm in Southampton so about 50-60 miles. Normally wouldn't go that far but it was about £1500 under book. Thought it was a bit too cheap, so I ring them up to check all the fine details. Has it got air con? Has it got alloys? Has it got cd? Whats the general condition of the paintwork etc,etc. Answer yes,yes,yes, its unmarked sir. So a nice trip out the following Sunday morning, and guess what. No air con,no cd,no alloys, scracthed to f**k, dash has holes in it for gods sake UNMARKED! Needless to say I let them know I was not happy! All ended well as they say went off to Guildford which was a nice run past Stonehenge and all. Found a car with a private seller and she's over the moon with it. Which is great as she hasn't said to much about me new wheels.
