  1. In fact, I'm sure last time I saw it there were some dents in the roof still and some orange peely paint from when he rolled it?
  2. +1 - really sorry you've put it up for sale Tim. I think you need to have a lie down and think about what you're doing!
  3. Knowing this place you might want to make it clear that it should be for the car!
  4. Check it is structurally sound first. If it is going to be tracked, I'd stick some graphics over the poor paint job, rip everything out of it and go for it.
  5. +1 - can your Dad make them hubcentric and gaurentee that they are spot on symetrical and will sit you wheels spot on central to the hub? If not then you will get judder at high speed and even worse might end up in the wheel falling off! +1
  6. They're dimples mate, not cross drilled
  7. Not the greatest colour for it, but I still like 'em.
  8. Only thing to note with AG SRP is that it does contain silicone. This isn't a problem in itself, unless you get to the point of needing / wanting paintwork done. It causes problems as the silicone gets into the paint. That said, I still use it at times, just don't let it dry on too much. As for polishes, as long as you get one that isn't too abrasive, you shouldn't do any damage by hand. The order you have in your list is about right, but as Stew says, washing after claying is recommended. I actually wash each panel after claying it to prevent stuff drying on the paintwork. You will need the car very dry for polishing, it's a pain when you get water in the polish!! I am using Chemical Guys SSR1 for minor swirls and then White Diamond Glaze before sealing. The sealant I use has been a bit of a revolution in the car detailing world - look up Chemical Guys jetSEAL 109. Amazing product IMO. Wax is then a personal thing and down to how much you want to spend. Don't be fooled by 'spray waxes' in places like Halfords. If you want a proper wax, look at Polished Bliss or some of the other traders on here that sell it. Final bit of advice, don't use a sponge! It has to be wash mitt and two buckets....
  9. It's another lovely day and took the Zed up to Halfrauds to get me some Engine and Machine cleaner for the engine bay. On the way, a couple on their immaculate Honda Goldwing were completely taken out by someone impatient in a queue just pulling out of the line of traffic. I left the guy wondering why his wife wouldn't wake up (she was breathing) as the ambulance turned up. Now I'm all for getting bikers to not zip down the outside of the traffic and it angers me when they do. But just check. Even if on a selfish note, repairs to a Zed door will be expensive! Otherwise, enjoy the sun! It's a good day for a drive out!
  10. I'm not really Rob. Had a hectic week at work and after 12 hours I can't be bothered looking at a PC screen more. Ok, I've still had time to surf on here but..... emmmm..... I make time for that! I should get a run at it on my time off, especially if the weather is rubbish! If you have the time to do it, it would be a nice reference point.
  11. I don't think it had the NISMO kit but it definitely was a 53 plate. It looked immaculate. You should come down to one of the Chilli's meets being based where you are.....
  12. Take a look in the meets section, there's a few around. The first few big events are further north but worth it - especially the Wales drive out and JTS at Silverstone. Take a look and get your name down

    Single DIN headunit

I would suggest an Alpine with detachable front face and iPod control. There's a few here..... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/ipod-fr ... =3&sort=5d
  14. Not heard of that before - tried an ECU reset?
  15. But it's all about the torque delivery and many other issues for sprints.....
  16. Heading round a roundabout just after the A404 roundabout towards Maidenhead. Looked clean
