When I decided to purchase a set of 'summer wheels' a few years ago, I did alot of research into the correct rolling radius, as follows; Front OEM 225x45ZR18 = 245x35ZR19 Rear OEM 245x45ZR18 = 275x35ZR19 I have had 3 sets of tyres since then, mainly Falken 452's (directional). I have also used Dunlop SP1's Recently, I had to purchase a pair of Falken 453 (asymmetric) 275x35ZR19 for the rears as Falken have discontinued the 452 range. I now have 452's on the front (directional) and 453's on the rear (assymmetrical) Since then the traction control cuts in when travelling along bend to the right over 50mph! Quite un-nerving and cornering confidence is reduced. I can only put this down to the different tyre treads as I have never experienced this before (unless anyone has any other thoughts on this?). I am now stuck between a rock and a hard place as I may have to find funds to change the fronts to 453's as well, despite being assured by Blackcircle.com that it is OK to mix treads front to rear! If anyone is thinking of purchasing tyres, please bear the above in mind chaps... (is it possible to adjust the TC sensitivity perhaps?). Neil

Thinking about fitting a double din head unit with hands free and steering controls. I know that I can adjust volume, skip tracks etc using the steering control but will I lose the phone control? Has anyone fitted a head unit that allows the use of the phone controls and if 'yes', can you tell me the make and model please? Thanks Neil

Hi Neil, Yes this would not be a problem 452 is directional so they will be okay on the front and 453 is asymmetric which is not a problem for the rear. Thank you for your input Gentlemen Neil

I have 452's on the front as well though. (different tread pattern to the 453's) Have I got to change all 4 tyres? Please say 'No' Neil

Hi all, In need of a pair of Falken 452 - 275x35ZR19 99Y tyres which is a direct equivelent for the rolling radius of the OEM 245x45R18's rear wheels. I've searched everywhere but cannot find any - have Falken discontinued them? I don't want to have to replace all 4 tyres with a different brand. Neil

What a great idea It is the 'T' section that feeds two jets (one each side of the arm) that needs replacing though? Thanks for the suggestion. Neil

Really annoying this as it is such a small part but the spray won't work without it. Noticed the 'T' section of the water hose (at the top of the drivers wiper arm) has perished. Does anyone know where I can buy replacements please? Thanks Neil

I suppose it is me being thick, but if I go to a forum and type 'door switch cover' or 'door finisher cover' in the search box, nothing is found? Anyway, here's the question - does anyone have any step by step instructions to remove the door switch covers so I can paint them please? I have an '56 facelift model. Thanks everyone Neil

If I could find a standard back box that has been chromed (if that's possible?) then I would go for that. At worst, I'm looking for the standard box ('56 plate). 2006 (56 Plate). I thought about replacing it as well. Can you still use the steering wheel controls with your new head unit? I would gladly upgrade the microphone if only I knew where to buy them from...

When I'm using the hands free kit, the person I'm talking to say they cannot hear me very well. This is when I am moving. On the motorway it's impossible. I know that technology moves on so I contacted Nissan Customer Service to ask if I could purchase a better microphone, and in short, they haven't a clue. The kit is OEM'd by THBury but they say I have to ask Nissan. So it looks like I need to ask the experts 😉 Has anyone fixed this issue? Ta...
