It was his sheer enthusiasm which I couldn't help admiring. He was like a wide-eyed youngster who never grew up - always excited and excitable. He lived and experienced more in his shortened life than most of us ever will. The world is a less interesting place without him.

I've already bigged up this motor on the otherside and if I do it again Simon won't get his head through the door to drive it. However, I am looking forward to seeing one of these mythical Chillis in the flesh when we go to Wales.
