  2. Hi Gort , and welcome !! best advice I could give having an import myself is to buy one already in the country so you can see what your getting Loads for sale at bargain prices at present , so get buying It usually takes 3 months to import a car from buying to actually receiving the car... a long time IMO FOR SOMETHING TO GO WRONG OR SOMEONE TO GO BANKRUPT..
  3. Nissan do market a grounding kit , most get them from Ebay or Spill (a member on here ) I have one fitted , but am amongst the minority who think it did bugger all !
  4. Ming ...Theres bloody hundreds of decent Z's for sale at bargain prices, if your not happy.., tell the seller to stuff it and find a better one !! or even better if you are happy knock him down a few hundred more for the hassle yes enjoyed various threads on the GTO site and look forward to more of your ramblings on here I can certainly tell your no stranger to the keyboard

  9. Nope cant see the guy I bought em off , but theres hundreds of sellers on Ebay selling plates for £9.99/ plate just make sure you insist on correct size for rear or else you can see a gap in the bumper cover if its smaller than 14" X 7"
  10. I got it off a seller on Ebay (couldnt be arsed to start taking in passports ,other docs etc. to local motor factors) came in a couple of days. with border etc, that I wanted..I'll try and find out if he's stillon and put up a link.. re front bracket yes IMO looks better but a lot of people on here have ditched theirs,, I bought mine of a member on here (LiamsZ )

  14. 8.5 & 9.5 245 / 275 / 19 on mine .. to be honest no tangible difference in feel or ride , may just be slightly noisier but not 100% sure on that but 100% sure they look better

  16. hi and Welcome ... yes import will have to be in MPH.should have been done to get it SVA'd though yes bose will only pick up limited stations ..general concensus is to junk it and put in a different system (I did ) just look out for normal things that you would do buying any used car, condition , mileage etc.. ps plenty of threads on Imports etc. on this site if you do a search (all free by the way ) and dont forget to post pics when you buy it
  17. Lomto is this true with all imports (including GT Brembo pads) that Nissan charge a lot more for pads as car is import. Or is it only expensive for non brembo import pads? To be frank I've no idea as I've never been anywhere near a Nissan dealer to buy anything.. I just expect to get my pants pulled down if I frequent them
  18. OK Chris you tidy the thread up Congrats on your new role running the site - I had no idea Whooopss I'll get me coat
  19. I think before you do anything else put in a new set of pads and try it I have an import and use EBC "red stuff" pads seem OK on my import. cost about £80 for a front set
