  9. yep £13k + is not a cheap price for a write off car no matter how well its been repaired or how good it looks
  10. yes , not a big believer in paying over the odds for just a brand name product.. but in this case I'm with Mike ..pay a bit more and get one that you know will be OK and not harm anything
  11. chain camshaft drive on the Zed
  12. LOL , mine had done 10k still ended up in the bin, better the tyres than the car I think that over-eggs it Tim, the tyres may not be the best in the wet but there are in no way dangerous. Its simply a matter of driving with their limitations (if you believe they have them) in mind. When I got my S/C, the 18" could not hold the power for sure and Toyos on 19" are much improved but NA I never really recall having an issue No honestly Dorian , I firmly believe that the Bridgestones are a dangerous tyre for the UK market, I'm sure they will be fine for warmer climes than ours... where heat is already in the tyre.. Saying that if you just pottle along there will be no issues

  14. hasd a similar experience when I first had Zed ...all down to the Bridgestones.. never had any problems when using Falkens or the Continentals.... thread here- http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  15. You and virtually every other Zed owner I would imagine ( myself excluded! I think they look rather plain ) Join a long queue Yeah they do look a bit plain, which is why I am also keeping an eye out for some Volks CE28's but the jury is still out on this one! By what I mean heavily discounted I mean not rip-off Britain prices i.e. grey imports from America - £1 virtually buys $2 at the moment - thats alot of buying power! G dont forget the import duty / vat/ shipping charges/ customs handling charges etc..
  16. You never paid £40 for a filler cap Mike I thought I was daft no I didn't, paid £22 from US. Ex display one thats more like it
