To be honest working with bikes all the time I have no particular preference.. A quick blast round a Firblade or R1, is probably my choice.. But I would be quite happy on a Bandit or similar When me and a few mates have a blast down to Spain I usually go on a Thundercat as it is quite light and comfortable..a big plus when you cover over 500 miles in a day.. also keeps up with the big bikes on anything other than a really long straight

no was just in me garage............... my bike has never seen rain......... faulty electrics then... back to the dealer whilst it's still in warranty its over 2 yrs old................ so think the warrenty has run out......... Shame your not a bit closer to me , there is a very good independent mechanic near me that specialises in Mille's... At our shop, we wont touch them why wont you touch them........... are they too fast for you........... Yes they are fast ....the fastest thing into the workshops I know , besides Ducati's

yep thought about a X type just dont like the look of them, Really want something I've not had before , had an S class V8 Merc..very good car , just needed an airstrip to turn it round.. Not tried a S type Jag, only other thing that is very cheap is a newish 75 Rover

I'm sure someone will have said this to you ? , but here goes... why not just buy one already in the country either from a dealer or privately, There are loads for sale at present and the really cheap prices asked dont make it worthwhile importing one unseen , in fact some prices I have seen you will be paying more to import one yourself than get one already in the country and fully sorted Slightly biased opinion as this is what I did with my JDM..

if you have a base model import , the brake calipers will be different to a UK model, But no problem with obtaining pads etc.
