We can get Ultimax too. Give us a competitor's price and we'll try and beat it!

    Thanks

  2. You might like to consider these too. We sell tons of them and they are Philips quality for less than £3.50 a pair delivered

By the way, those LED bulbs that "Ultra LEDs" are selling are for 24v. The 350z is 12v isnt it?

  3. Just a word of warning here guys. These are NOT genuine Nissan or Nismo items. We have seen these kind of things before and in most cases they are just cheap items with knock off stickers on them. A while back I remember a friend in a car club I used to be in having bought one of these oil caps for his Honda, which had a Mugen sticker but otherwise exactly the same design as the one on this auction page. It became stuck fast resulting in him having to buy a new rocker cover.

    It's cheap for a reason.

That said, that is a very good price. A genuine Nismo emblem would cost more than that on its own!

  4. I've checked the ones we sell and they are the Silvertec ones too. Sorry sparky.

I also contacted our Philips supplier about those ones too and they said they don't supply those particular ones. It seems strange because they do all the rest of the Philips bulb range

  5. To be honest the Philips ones are better than these but it's debatable if they are twice as better for twice the cost.

I cant remember off the top of my head what brand the ones JDM sells are. I could check when I get back into work on Friday and let you know though.

  6. Does this unit still have a fog lamp or would one need to be fashioned? Im just thinking of MOT time! Also just checking it is the offside lamp?

    thanks

You'd need to fit this with a red bulb in place of the standard clear one. However, the MOT station might not think it is bright enough for a fog light depending on how strict they are. I remember we had this problem a while ago on an old FTO and solved it by fitting a dual filament rear light/brake red bulb there with it wired so both filaments came on together when the fog light was switched on.

That said, you cant do that on the 350z because the bulb is a large wedge bulb. You can buy red large wedge (I think they are called W21W's) bulbs but they are not that common. We used to do them from a company called Eurolite from America, but they have now gone out of business so I am not sure where you'd get a suitable bulb from.

    I hope this helps :)

  7. We had these on our project car (pre 06) - the same kind as you have bounty78.

We loved them, and they certainly drew attention.

I wired them into the car on their own circuit to a switch on the centre consol so they could be put on as and when instead of automatically with the lights. Kinda figured that would be a good idea on account of them being blue lights on the front of the car and the police sometimes getting jumpy about that.

Have to agree they look best when fitted to cars with other modifications too. Ours had other blue lighting to match so the overall effect was in keeping.

That said though... go for it! Especially if you like the look! :)
