Not at the moment - but could probably import some from Japan if you're desperate - wouldn't be cheap though.

Yup, read all that post too
Thanks

It's your own fault for ragging it Chris
no no no, it's Nissan's fault for making a car that just begs to be ragged!

Ok guys, mines been clicking for a while now but is getting worse and has got to the point that its annoying me so I thought I might get something done about it.
Mines a '52 JDM and done about 20,000. Not been in before to get axles greased or parts replaced, but has been in my local Nissan garage (Arnold Clark) in Livingston twice before.
Question is - am I likely to get shafted for this to be fixed? PLEASE tell me there's a common re-call and I just have to ask for the free fix?
Any other advice to arm myself with (yes, I've searched the forum already).
Has anyone had dealings with a dealer in central scotland who is sympathetic to this problem that I could go to?
Cheers

OK guys I'm getting round to getting my car back on the road so the dreaded Insurance has to be faced.
Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance companies for import Z's?
Cheers

Chris, do you also supply replacement disks for non-Brembo JDM cars? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I notice that the front disks are getting a bit worn and will need replacing in a few more thousand miles. The rears should keep for a bit longer.
Naaa sorry we dont have discs at this time :-/

Brake pads:
We do a large range of different pads for both Brembo and non-Brembo JDM cars.
De-limiting - the only one on the market that we know of which works with the Z is the HKS SLD (also available on our site).
Fitting is relatively easy but you do need to solder some wires. If in doubt at all, get an auto electrician to fit it.

Has anyone actually bought and used this software/hardware?
I'm extremely concerned that it wont work on my Z. I think imports have a slightly different set up to UK/USA models when it comes to ECU configuration so I just dont wanna spend money and it not work :-/

Mongoose is full stainless - pics are available if you click through to our site

Sorry didn't read the first post carefully enough.
Is there any such software for the Z - outside of Nissan's stuff.
2 options spring to mind:
- find someone who has a GReddy infometer and get them to hook that up to your OBD port**
- find a tuner who is not a dealer who has the Nissan consult stuff. Perhaps TDI; although having said that, they'll charge you too
** think Lew (Revsport) has one or had one?
Aye I've got an Informeter on it just now - doesnt indicate that there is an error code.
Those companies are miles from us - we're up in Scotland. I'd be good to get the nissan software. It must be available somewhere. I can get the VAG software for nowt :-/
-
I've already bought 2 different eBay checkers and they dont work - but worked fine on my Focus. I'll re-try the pedal thingie again but really I'd like the software.
Anyone had any experience of laptop software use with the Z?
