  3. Whoa!!! Sorry boys, didnt want to interrupt your private moment there ....Ill leave now, I think.
  4. I totally agree. As a total newb to have someone like mark answer your question almost before you have pressed the post button is very impressive And most likely that is where his influence comes from. The first experience that people have of him is of someone ready to help and happy to share. As I often tell myself, people love someone who can solve their problems.
  5. F**k off I've got std rims at the mo P.s which look much better than rays imo Why have you got standard rims??????????? Thought god gave everyone standard "rims: .... Question: if you go for ray's do you still get the std rims??? No!
  6. F**k off I've got std rims at the mo P.s which look much better than rays imo Why have you got standard rims??????????? Thought god gave everyone standard "rims"....
  7. I think that his influence arises from the fact that he helps every one so readily and is very happy to share info and stuff. I think a lot of people have had first hand experiences with him and thus trust him as such. The only other persons like that are prob Paul and Kev. The "I like it a bit" thing is so true too...

  9. Actually, thats quite a valid observation. And very interesting too. Hmmm....
  10. Just teasing grandad. I do like UY, the pearlescent paint is awesome (when clean and in the sunlight). Sounds like you got a good deal on it too..... PS: Nismo kits are so passe...even Steve (P15pathfinder) has one.

  18. Brake fluid....about 10 quid. Brake pads....about 120 quid. Discs....about 100-120 quid. Lines....about 100 quid. All in for about 300-350 quid iirc.
  19. Insurance was dear in 1984 though Liam, Im younger than you mate... Paid 1300 ish in the end. It went up this year when I told them about my CAI. Dont know why I bothered...
  20. Afaik, post 2004 suspensions worldwide are the same. TBH not a lot of people in UK have done suspensions mods (or any mods for that matter), best to look (and read) on sites such as my350z in the US where people have done stuff. Also have a chat with Spill/ G_torphins, both have had suspension bits on their cars.
  21. First quote I ever got was well over 7K. Felt like crying. (Was 25 then).
  22. Wouldnt Liam. Its just a thought. Besides, I can quite easily go the better brake fluid, better pads, better discs and steel lines route if Im that interested. Have already dont the fluid and pads, waiting on some discs and have steel lines sitting around waiting to go on the car.
  23. EBC Red Stuff are a decent pad for the car. I have had them on for about a month and a bit and they seem ok. However, I prob need to change my discs too (this has nothing to do with the red stuff ones, just related to wear and tear). Ferodo do the DS 2500 pads too which are well spoken off, but a dealer I tried couldnt find me any. (Mine are non brembo brakes too) I have the part no. for the red stuff pads somewhere too, if you want. You can also try stuff from the US, there are pads like Hawk, Project Mu and Endless all of which are quite good. End of the day, its all down to what your use is mostly going to be.
