I think the problem was Dorian, that when it was fitted found out the gaskets were knackered, therefore i've gotta get a couple ordered (which are cheap anyway) and that one of the pipes only just clears the anti roll bar as it fits over the top. Therefore Paul @ TDi was a little concerned about it vibrating against it...... (will have to get something between the two). So I think when I first heard it, there's this real raspy sound during load in mid range and I was concerned as to whether that was the pipe vibrating against the anti roll bar, or whether it was just the raspyness of the exhaust system....... suppose was just a little worried that it took a bit of the shine off. Anyway its definitely growing on me! The DC system will always sound raspy, because it has absolutely no resonators, or x bends. When I heard one it sounded extremely similar to an M3 with a metallic rasp. Definitely sounds different

Yeah i agree, sounds like a typical 'fat-cannon' exhaust on a Nova. Not nice.

What the hell is the driver of the S doing? He starts the race at about 4,000 rpm! There is no way an S is going to keep up with a Z at that rpm. You can see the difference in torque when both change gear and the S has to wait to get back in it's stride

HMmm... That's not a Nismo exhaust is it? Looks like a fujitsubo? Wonder if Nismo conceded the fuji is better?
