I know the window setup on early JDM cars differs from UK spec (there is no 'reset' switch on the motor, for example), so reluctant to fork out £hundreds to a UK dealer for a new unit that might not work. Does anyone have a source for JDM spares? Happy to take a used part (as long as it works!!!)

cobblers - mine was a 2002 and had a reset switch - it was covered by a circle of thin brown plastic though, needed to be peeled back to reveal the reset switch on the motor

my JDM on the digital readout showed MPH even though it had KPH next to it - used this on the road as more useful re speed cameras than looking at the needle.

only problem on the digital pod was DTE was in KM and economy (!) was in km/l

3.5k BIK - so still cheaper than a beemer, 0-62 times aint much to get exited about though

just thought I would share this little experience I had with the other site.

went back later that day to find link removed and a message stating this from the moderators - I questioned the reason why - notthing to do with content just bad blood between the sites

how very petty - had to upload the same images.
