I'm not going to spoil this really nice thread by posting the list of names - but please don't suggest I'm not telling the truth Dorian - take a look at the list if you like - you know where it is, then come back and tell me if there are any mistakes (I admit that initially I rushed it out with a couple of errors, which are now corrected - and I missed a few off initially too!!!). My main point is that I'd love to be part of the world's biggest Zed run!

I really don't want to be a party pooper/rain on your parade, but as someone from here asked the question about numbers of Zeds at the OC National last September, I've done a list and there were 35 zeds present at that meet. I know it's not the point and I agree that it doesn't matter a jott - I've had some brilliant meets with just 2 or 3 Zeds, but I thought you might like to know. Personally I think we should all aim for 100 in one place, and make it a proper big number!!!! Chubbs

We are NOT committee members, so you can stop saying that we are, because you're wrong. I think you'll find that Chesterfield is not talking about me, but as you've got some kind of agenda against me you assume it is me. Best wishes Chubbs Your right but the point was that in his first post over at the OC he states that he is ready to part with his money, which would indicate that he is going to pay the membership fee which in turn means its not free for him Just re-read the thread. That wasn't what you meant, but nice try!!! I thought that you had set yourself up as the champion of bringing the 2 clubs together, but post like yours above seem to be highlighting differences in order to increase divisions. Where exactly do you stand? ...and as you bring it up, if someone chooses to become a full member of the OC it's of very little consequence and I don't think it's really anyone else's business, or of interest to anybody but the individual concerned. Hope you continue to enjoy both forums FREELY.

Hello peeps - Mr Chubbs here! I don't get much time to visit this forum, being too busy making a nuisance of myself elsewhere, but obviously this topic has aroused my interest. As a Mod on the other site, I take exception to the above comment - If you visited the Owners Club site it could not escape your attention Chesterfield that the first 2 replies to Sarnie's suggestion were from Moderators on the other site, one of whom is a Committee Member and the other one was me! http://forums.DELETED.com/inde ... topic=5752 Both of our responses were positive and encouraging and pre-dated your remark that I have quoted above. However they did express concern that any proposal for a joint meet should have regard for the sensitivities of those people who have put in a great deal of time and effort organising the OC National Meet (not me, I hasten to add). Fair enough, woudn't you agree? I'm sure that you and other older members also remember that the idea of a National Meet was discussed for ages on the old site (the one that morphed into the OC at the start of the year). Nobody on the old site got their act together to organise it and it was with delight that we learned that a handful of committee members had taken on the challenge a few months ago. So the National Meet is the natural and welcomed culmination of an idea that Veilside Z and the other original members had some years ago. As for the future - and I'm NOT speaking for anyone but myself here - I too would LOVE to see a giant meet of a hundred or more Zeds in convoy and I would be one of the first to sign up for it, so please don't cast aspersions on us and misrepresent us over at the OC. For our part we have taken as much action as you (ie posted on a website!!!!) - and in Sarnie's thread over there, we're not slagging you off.

GT pack for me too - The Bose stereo sounds excellent, imo and the heated seats are in the winter - Every morning they are the first thing I switch on, after the ESP goes off! I rarely use cruise control, but being a Catholic I feel the need to deprive myself sometimes, so then I use it for a bit - it's a bit like doing a penance
