Two bonnet hinges, two pyro bonnet actuators and the ECU involved = £2700 inclusive, plus cost of bumper fascia. Awful lot of labour involved obviously...

The machinery and computer are of Japanese origin and have pretty much everything on file. I had the company hack Stagea done while getting some customer tyres fitted up and that was on the database, so 350Z should be no problem!

Hope to see a few more of you turn out for this joint meeting - looking forward to a great display!

20+ Zs on and off in the Z Club area opposite start/finish line. I saw at least four different 350Zs out on track running between 16.00 dead and 13.7. Three (or four) Z32 300ZXs ran at different times during the day...

A Z trading colleague has a few parts that may be of interest - he normally deals in 300ZX Z32 parts, but has received either in error or as part of company merging, the following:

1. 350Z Carbing FRONT strut brace: Will fit all models between 03-06 but not 07+ (engine too high). Made from aerograde aluminium for lightness and tig welded for ultimate rigidity. Received in place of a Z32 Carbing brace and decided against returning it to Carbing/Okuyama in Japan due to high shipping costs. It has never been fitted and only removed from the official packaging to take pictures. The strut brace normally retails for around £265+ (not incl. shipping) elsewhere but will accept £175 and ship it directly to the customer FOC.

2. 350Z “Unique Autosportâ€

You should know that Nissan list is now £91.36 inclusive...recently reduced.

With Nissan nuts and bolts, run of the mill stuff is usually in the price range 0.10 to £2.00 or so. When the price hikes up it usually means that there is something odd about the part which makes it "captive" to Nissan parts department sales. There are, however, extensive pricing anomalies in the Nissan system!

Wherever possible, MJP (Eastern Auto) offer OEM parts sourced through the Nissan systems but offered at discount rates to enthusiasts as a result of our bulk buying discounts. This may only be a few % on nuts and bolts, but as much as 20% off Nissan list on service items, clutch parts and brakes (most, not all - Brembo parts are expensive!).
