    Rcvd a letter at my parents house today - a place I havent been registered at for the better part of 6 years.

     

    Anyways, its from the MOD.

    You remember that Laptop that went missing with all the info on it?

    Well it turns out my details are on it!

     

    I kinda figured I was immune since Im not in the forces. But no.

    What they didnt tell people on the news is it included the personnal information and application forms for anyone who has applied/had interviews for the forces.

     

    9 years ago I applied to the Royal Navy, but afetr successful interviews, decided at the last minute to enter the Merchant Navy instead (more money and less BS)

     

    What I want to know is why on earth was information thats almost 10 years old doing on a laptop!?!?!

    The letter of apology didnt explain any of this!

     

    Im fuming! :rant:

    Trying to find a strut bar....but none of them fit the MY07!! :rant:

     

    Does the Summit one not? It looks to have plenty of clearance. :)

     

    had it up against the car at Phils place today. Looks like it "may" fit.

    Gunna do a proper test fit on Saturday.

    Laying up the Zed - what to do??

    As some of you know, I work in the Merchant Navy. And thus go away for 3 months at a time.

     

    The car will be getting garaged for that period.

    Aside from chocking the wheels, leaving the handbrake off, disconecting the battery, and covering the car.

    Is there anything else I should be doing specific to a Zed?

    Just spent an hour cleaning the Zed.

    Had just dried her perfectly, went into the garage to get the NXT Wax out, when I came back it was pi$$ing down!

    GGRRRRRRR

     

    but not to let an opertunity go to waste, I took the pics anyway!

    Though much to my annoyance i found out my camera batteries are dead!

    So these are taken using mobile phone....apoligies for slightly crap quality

    I've practically became part of the furnature at ESR the past 2 weeks!

     

    Chris....there may have been some boxes there.....I was too busy drooling over a corrado, and stopping myself spending more money to pay too much attention tbh

     

    Im gunna be back at ESR later this week to collect my old exhaust.

    In fact, probably tomorrow afternoon when I think about it.
