  1. Thanks for the replies guys, I have had a look at mine this evening (took a bit as been away) and I think I have 25mm on the back,  but in fairness I measured using a key and then measured the key when I got inside, so they might be 20mm 🤣

Can I assume that 20mm will be alright for the front even of running 25 on the back?

Note that tyre sizes are standard 285/19 on back and 245/19 on front 👍

I have 15mm spacers on the front of mine, from Tarmac sportz, work perfectly fine.

    These: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/japan-racing-nissan-5x114-3-15mm-jrwa3-wheels-spacers-66-1mm-hub-black-finish.html

    Full selection: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/wheels-tyres/spacers/?find=nissan-370z-all-variants-7577&sid=jeXkyz9ZZS

Had them all round but went with wider tyres so had to remove them on the rear and drop to a 5mm. you are fine upto 20mm all round on standard wheels and tyre sizes, 25mm and you will get rubbing on the arch trim.

Thanks! Will have to check what I'm running on the back before ordering (they were on car when I bought it)

Did they cause any changes/upset the handling at all?

  3. Hi guys,

I have searched Google and this forum for a straight answer on this, but I'm still not sure!

Can anyone direct me to front wheel spacers that are compatible with a Nismo V2 with factory Nismo wheels? I've read about these apparently not being compatible with spacers but have read some contradictory information!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi all,

I have bought japfest tickets for the upcoming show, however I didn't have my nissan 350z at the time and not part of this forum!

Is there any chance I can join the club stand please? I know this is last minute but I would really appreciate it!

I'm in the same boat, not owned the Z for that long and didn't realise it was Japfest this weekend 🙈

  5. As others have said, anything you buy will also have gone up in value so a pointless move unless you actually want rid.

My old BMW 335d is currently up for sale at a dealer for £27,450 - I paid £24,250 (privately) 3.5 years ago and put another 30k miles on the clock in that time! Mental current car valuations!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but while we're all checking for corrosion. I noticed this on mine yesterday while changing out some bulbs for LED ones, rust spots all underneath the weatherstrip in the boot...eek!

Oh that doesn't look great, wonder if mine is the same!

Not great for corrosion these cars it would seem!

Exactly the same issue with my 2014 V1... Was expecting the dealer to be a nightmare.

Turns out they were very helpful, dropped the car off and got a brand new micra to drive about in and within 3 days the car was done👍

I'm very particular about cars and I was expecting a cheap fix but they done a cracking job, how ever they did it!

Did you have full dealer service history or not?

Yeah the standard is too quiet, Ive got the Tarmac sports short tails on, make it just about right. Loud enough but not obnoxious, take a few months of driving to bed in sort of thing but they sound nice. I assume the Torqen ones and AAM are very similar in note.

Some drone on motorways at 3k rpm but you can live with it. Hope that helps :)

    Cheers!

Yeah not to fussed on motorway drone to be honest, it's going to do limited mileage anyway, effectively being the second car that's not suitable for carting the kids around in.

If you need a standard Nismo back box, got one with 5k on it in off a 2019 the loft. Was pondering selling it

The short tails are a LOT louder than the standard back box, even with the rest of the system as standard.

Noise is exactly what I'm after 🤣

I'm not really interested in putting another std on on, the one I have isn't rattling or anything so would just stick with it for now. Thanks for the offer though 👍

  10. Guys,

Has anyone with a Nismo exhaust had this? There is what looks like some sort of baffle in the exhaust tail pipe and the outer mesh is completely rotten and the softer material is coming out, 2015 car with 47k?

Excuse the exhaust being as dirty, it's not normally like that 😅

What's the options, can you replace the tail pipes alone or is it new backbox as a minimum? I'm looking for an excuse to need a full new system here 🤫😂

I would just rock up at there dealership unannounced and ask them to inspect your vehicle and to raise a claim.

I would not even mention the lack of service and paint inspection history, just keep shtum.

    Good Luck.

Good shout, will give that a try!

Common issue because of poor design causing a water trap resulting in "corrosion."

Don't let the lack of dealer service history put you off from asking your Nissan dealership to raise a claim under the 12 year perforation warranty.

The Nissan dealership may well support you with your claim as it is Nissan UK that will be footing the bill, generating much needed revenue for your dealership.

I'll give them a call, cheers for the advice

  13. Hi Guys,

Having purchased a used 2015 370 Nismo with 47k on the clock, I was surprised on closer inspection to find upon it's first 'proper clean' that there is some corrosion forming under both of the wing mirrors (one side worse than other). Having searched the subject I can see this is fairly common and others have had the issue sorted under the 12 year anti-perforation warranty. However, I'm not going to be that lucky, as mine hasn't been serviced at Nissan in the most recent years.

My question to you all is, am I better off leaving it until it becomes obvious (at the minute it isn't really) or shall I get it sorted sooner rather than later? I understand the doors are aluminium so struggling to see how they are corroding so easily

Pic so you can all see it 😬

    Thanks in advance!

  14. Thanks for the welcome along guys!

I'm certainly no stranger to the forums, having been very active over on Focus ST OC (under another name) when I had my MK2 ST and to a lesser extent when I had my MK3. Since then though, I moved on to more sensible motors, firstly buying a Merc E350 Coupe and then more recently a BMW 335d Touring (family reasons!). I think there was a brief encounter with an FN2 Civic Type R too 🤣

I thought that forums had died off a bit, with the popularity of Facebook groups. However with the 370, all I can see is mainly overseas groups! Let me know if there are any other groups that would be good to be a part of - I'm looking for something centred around the North East of England!

And one last thing, who do you all use for servicing? I used to go to specialist Merc/BMW garages, but the same can't be seen for fast Nissans!
