The ABS light just comes on randomly now and again, might not do it for a couple of weeks, whats the betting it will come on for the MOT! Just checked the tyres and I have FRONT - 225/45ZR18 REAR - 245/45R18

I have a MOT due and having some issues with dash lights, I have the flashing airbag light, I tried the 4 ignition on and off trick but the flashing still remains. the instructions for ignition on and off says turn ignition on wait for the light to go off but it doesn't actually go off just starts flashing, I still did it 4 times. I have nothing under my seats, the passenger seat has one missing, the small white one, is that normal? see pictures Also I randomly get the 3 orange lights coming on (see picture) might not do it for ages then will just come on while driving, they come on and stay on until I turn off and back on then they go. Will the lights fail a MOT?

When I bought the car I was told it was totally stock so this was a surprise, interesting why they fitted this and not touched anything else.

Just doing my first oil change and I have a Nismo branded oil cooler, I assume that's not stock?

I'm replacing the pads with some Brembos, making sure I put plenty of copper grease on the back hopefully that sorts it. the discs seem ok so hopefully I wont have to replace them.

ah ok, I watched a youtube video and he used a gasket, he was in the US so they probably do it differently over there.

I have a small leak from my oil pan, where's the best place to get a gasket? or am I better off using a sealant?

I've been watching the road and race videos on youtube, that guys a legend I wish i could strip the whole underneath of the car down but I dont have anywhere to do it, its a pain just jacking the car up as my driveway is a slope

really I need to get it in a ramp and have a proper look, work out what bits are too far gone and need replacing or need work. Whats the best plan with the surface rust? sand it down and apply a treatment?

If you haven't already get yourself a OBD reader, you can then investigate a bit yourself on what's causing the EML. It will either tell you what's setting it off or give you a code you can then google it. Are the fuel gauges on the 350z dodgy in general or is it just mine, it fluctuates between just over and just under half way and moves up and down randomly. I filled up to full a while back and it went to 3 quarters. I've not let it get too low as im worried its not actually reading properly and dont want to run out.

this is starting to look expensive 🤑

yep I watched a video online which had a similar diagram, I know i should have saved and got a better kit but will see how this goes seems ok so far apart from not having the spacers!

ummmmm I might have gone for a cheaper one off eBay 🙄 I'm sorry please don't shout at me! The build quality seems good and it sent on fine, took the car for a drive today and seems good. Just a shame it didn't come with spacers for the strut brace.

It doesn't look like the kit came with spacers, washers is a good shout, a couple of each nut should do it, cheers

I've just installed a plenum spacer which went on nicely, I've then gone to put the strut brace back on and it goes all the way down and I could do the nuts up but it literally sits on top of the plenum and the black plastic cover. I bought a 5/16" and I thought this would allow the strut brace to go back on but its touching so do i just run without the strut brace?
