Yep Black Vue 4K is important to being able to read number plates without the grain or motion blur

Any particular model/version, or is it literally called Black Vue 4K? Ta...

  2. Brave man, I'm very impressed that you went through with it.

We popped into Apex last year, as we do during most visits to Nurburg. Misha and the crew are always good to chat to and very welcoming.

  3. I've been using Auto Finesse Aqua Coat for the last couple of years. I tend to spray it on to the rinsed and still wet panels every fourth wash. I'm sure there's better, but seems to give good results.

I might try the AG one for a change next time.

This started when I opened the roof, both windows went right down. I put the roof up and the windows did not close. The passenger one closed using it's switch but the driver's side would not move. I read that a slap on the face on the door card might work and it did so the window closed. I tried again, the window went down but did not return so I slapped a bit harder and the window motor made a horrible noise, the window started to come up slowly and juddering but stopped part way up. Now I cannot move either of the windows.

Could a fuse have blown? There is no information in the handbook re. fuse numbers.

I can see on the Forum people have reset but only with the windows working. For my older car someone said a rest button is behind the door card.

    Can anyone help please?

Is there a local independent who is into 350zs - I live just south of Bristol

    ask @ShortPaul

    He's in the Bristol area.

  5. I remember researching the V2 Nismo after seeing one on A/T in December 2020, the one I ended up buying nearly two  months later - I knew the Z cars but never heard of 'Nismo' to be honest.

Basically I went ahead after getting some real world owner's advice and opinion from this forum, plus Mark at Abbey M/S, who conveniently are only 10 miles from me.

  6. Looking back, I first posted my response to this thread back in June 2021.

It's still a good read and confirms again what a great vehicle it is, plus how glad I am that I decided to take a bit of a leap into the unknown three years ago (today).

  7. Later ones actually shouldn't suffer the clutch slave issues, plus I'd add neither the steering lock mechanism failure either.

I've owned my 2017 Nismo for three years today and have covered approximately 9000 miles in that period, with no issues at all.  Current total mileage is now 25,500.

    I'd say go for it.

The highest afaik is around 630? Main thing will be the insurance since Im in a weird spot. I know the fuel economy is going to be worse. Might be better off waiting in the meantime I guess.

Yeah, road tax around the £600 mark - totally nuts but it's all about persuading people to drive newer vehicles, where most cars sit at £180, the same as my Z which is in the 2017 sweet spot.

@davey_83 the seat was unbelievable, holds you in place perfectly. I think the longest stint of driving without stopping we did was about 4 1/2 hrs and my back didn't ache or hurt one bit. The only downside is its a bit of a pain getting in and out but thats a minor for all the benefits it gives.

@GranTurismoEra exactly! I would rather it sit in the garage most the year and have a mega road trip and a couple nice drives out rather then drive it pointlessly

Hey Lewis, I absolutely love what you've created there. A brilliant thread!

One question, what brand and model number are your walkie talkies and would you recommend them? The pair I've used on road trips abroad since 2012 have packed up, they weren't the best but did work. I need to get a new pair for our upcoming trip to Essen in April for Techno Classica. Thanks.
