  1. Why didn’t I think of that saying that, finding the correct stickers are like finding rocking horse &@&£
  2. Morning all I'm having real trouble sourcing a Nismo logo'd radiator filler cap for my 370z nismo. I've searched the forum and Google but only seem to come across the other coolant reservoir cap that is pressurised which I already have. I've poached a couple of images showing the difference in the cap; I have the cap for the white tank closest to the bumber which is now covered by my new polished rad cover from Richard , it's the one behind I can't source. Thanks in advance and apologies if I need to up my game with search function
  3. Finally got round to fitting a superb mirror polished radiator expansion cover purchased from RDON. Very pleased with how it looks. I couldn’t quite get one of the pipes through the hole but still think it looks cool Got the red split pipe from flea bay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202755388910
  4. Called my local stealer thinking they would have a record of any warranty but they weren’t particularly helpful and said I needed to contact the dealer where I purchased to find out about the warranty then give them a call back. Ran out of time today but did find a Nissan warranty certificate which covers me until Oct 21and warranty booklet which has lots of exclusions in my glove box so will follow up again tomorrow and see what response I get. Annoyingly the boot did open first time a couple of times today and another couple times when it didn’t so demonstrating the issue to the stealer might not go my way
  5. I’ll give the stealer a call and see what they say; can’t do any harm to ask
  6. I bought it from a main stealer so it does have a warranty; I was presuming there is no way something like this would be covered?
  7. Cool, I’ll try a few squirts and see how that goes before shelling out on new struts
  8. Thanks very much Shezza; I like the sound of the upgraded ones from Torqen
  9. Hi All I had the tailgate not opening on one press of the release button and came up with a Heath Robinson fix (post linked below) which has now failedThe foam patch I used has compressed so much that it no longer works Anyways, the left sided boot strut creaks and sticks as I lift the boot lid up. Do I need new struts or would something like a squirt of silicon lubricant free them up? If new struts are needed, any suggestions on where to purchase at a good price. Thanks I will also order some modified spring boot release replacements that I mentioned in my (now failed)Heath Robinson post fix
  10. A Big Thanks to Torqen: Look what arrived in the post this afternoon
  11. Nice system StormtrooperZ And a bit cheaper (presume import tax would apply to the Nifty City). Only other difference I can see is the Nifty City doesn’t require a dongle for Apple phones.
  12. Thought I would share that Nifty City has 15% off selected Apple car play OEM integration for a short period for the Nissan 370Z 2010-2020 (Standard & Advanced Modules) Might be tempted to pre-order myself https://www.niftycity.shop/products/nissan-370z-2010-2020-standard
  13. That honey comb pattern looks lovely. Please could you post a link where it may be purchased? I’m sure I read somewhere you used lacquer from Halfords but can’t see that post now. I’m thinking of having a go myself at some carbon wrapping but before I do I’m trawling the forum for posts, guides links etc and learning by watching YouTube guides.
  14. Had mine valeted today, clay bar and machine polished. Very happy with the results
  15. If my Heath Robinson fix fails my back up plan is to order some modified improved spring assemblies from here: https://www.opentop.fr/shop?lang=en
  16. Hope I’m posting in the correct section. I have the common issue with the tailgate on my 370z Nismo where one press of the release button only partially unlocks the tailgate/boot/trunk (whatever you want to call it). Anyways, I set about removing the boot lid liner with the intention of removing the weight that I’ve seen online. Liner off in one piece but no weight in sight, only the holes where I presume it should be . Dammit; liner reinstalled. So, I thought the next plan would be to try the penny trick with the two spring things. Big FAIL; even with one penny inserted the plastic shroud kept popping off. Heath Robinson moment As per the photos I found some rubbery sticky pads which I cut to size and stuck on the car body to compress the springs a bit more. So far, it has opened every time with one press
  17. Thanks Andy, I absolutely love my Nismo. Been on to Torquen earlier re a few goodies, high flow cats, drop in K&N filters, silicon pipe thingy that connects to air box/throttle body.
  18. Thanks Andy. I’m having it professionally valeted soon, clay bar and mopped etc
  19. Hi Headphones, when I first installed the short tails for a while I was thinking they are just too loud but after a week or so I gradually fell in love and they are definitely going to stay on. Maybe high flow cats next from Torquen which will make even more noise
  20. I’m in Weymouth Dorset, originally from South Derbyshire
  21. Hi Paul, thanks for the welcome. Thought I’d replied earlier to your message but clearly not. I was having issues logging in until a kind member pointed out my school boy error with my forum name being incorrect
  22. Hi Payco, I’ve searched and searched and recon I was a member back in 2009-2010 ish. I had a freeserve and wanadoo email address which is no longer accessible so I can’t look for my forum name via that route. Only chance I can think of now is to see if I wrote it down somewhere as a backup. Back to the drawing board for now
  23. Thanks Whitevanman, black is the best, although I do also like white (and all the other colours so as not to offend anyone)
