  1. Thanks for the welcome and note to send a PM, unfortunately cannot seem to do that LOL
  2. Did you check that your KMH dials had not already been set to show in MPH (even though the text is wrong)? May be worth using an app on a phone or plug in sat nav to see if your actual speed matches your KNH dials? Just a thought. Good Luck.
  3. Further to this yesterday I have spoken to Autotrim of Ivybridge at length and they do not have the diagnostic equipment for the 350Z, they have for plenty of other cars but not this as it's not been called for and expensive to get which I understand. Offered to take a look for me to see if anything was obvious, may be worth a couple of hours labour. Also a good suggestion was see if I can get a Nissan dealer to do a diagnostic on it then use that to try and sort it. I understand main dealers don't want to look at these roof's and would be expensive anyway. At least I have windows and aircon.......to go with the smooth V6.....
  4. Thank you, I am searching for possible answers to try and sort it. Everything else feels good though so still happy with my Z, or is it Zed?
  5. Well after many years of wanting a 350Z convertible/roadster I finally got my hands on one at the weekend. Had a few convertibles over the years, from little MG Midgets, Spitfires, Land Rover V8, TVR S, MGF's but none compare to the 350Z. My budget did not let me go mad but I have a 48000 mile 2003 that was imported in 2007, last owner 13 years and all is well so far apart from the big problem of the roof not working (long story), I did know before purchase about the roof but took the decision to go for it as it was my way into Z ownership. I am not a mechanic but don't mind a basic play around, my Z is standard as far as I know so need to decide which way to go once I have done a few miles. I will try and attach a few basic photo's...........
  6. I would be interested to see if the Autotrim of Ivybridge, people in Plymouth can take a look at my roof, will be contacting them shortly to find out. I really wish the 350z's had a manual operation available as back up, I think the 370z's do for up and down.
