Stupid thing is i've actually found quotes for where i live now for £700 but when i put the address in that i plan to move to it doubles...

I actually use a Parrot Asteroid Smart. Its a very god unit but I can't recommend it these days as it runs on Gingerbread so won't support many modern apps. I've got Co-Pilot side loaded onto it but it pushes the unit purely as it doesn't have a lot of ram.

I did a see a review the other day for one of these. I wasn't impressed. Seems like the volume button didn't always want to work and that some apps that played music were "not aware of each other" so you end up with 2 sources playing at once.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but it seemed pointless starting a new one.
I've had this problem too. I'm looking to buy one in around 6 months time and my currant insurer MarkerStudy through A-Plan) refused to quote me.
I've had a hand full of offers on compare sites for over £1200...
I'm 27 (28 at the end of June) and currently drive a E46 325.
EDIT:
1 Claim for a non fault accident (i was 5 hours away from the car...)
Any tips

Just a suggestion I read from someone else's post on here recently and favourited because I'll be after some soon. Dude said they had a lifetime warranty too, and that's an amazing price.
I've used these myself on my BMW. Came quick and never had any issues with them.

So I have a few questions and didn't want to start a new thread.
1, is it possible to replace the standard base sub and replace with one in the factory location? I'm not looking to run huge power.
My BMW had a 400w 8inch sub in the rear seats and that was more than enough for what I wanted.
Actually I think that's the only burning question I have right now but any thoughts would be appreciated.
Again thanks all for the warm welcome.

Kept me happy for years though, Nice car for the long distance driving.
Will probably be a few month before I can get one however. I'm also prepping to move to a new place.
