  1. Scotzman, if it turns out they are LHD and not suitable for you, let me know how much you want for them. Cheers!

    Depo? Or Spec-D / Junyan?

If it's the latter, it doesn't look like the bottom one on this does it?

Hi, yea they are from the usa same as Ebay Item Number 112280174311 was told just to adjust the throw which i have done and not been flashed yet...

  3. I might have the connectors your missing on an old wiring loom in the Zed Shed - if that would help

Would be brill if you have....Thanks.... ordered a new HU too... connectors with a little wiring on them would be perfect for matching the wires up,

I will have a look tonight see if I have the bits you need - think they are still on the loom though :)

Even easier if they are on the loom that way i could match the wire colours up... great help

  4. Looks like someone has cut all the wires and connectors off to me, but it's been a while since I got behind there for a proper look.

I'd say that's going to need you to source the proper connectors, figure out which wire is which, and then reattach them all. Not a fun job by any means.

Hi Ekona.... took a bit tape off to see if they were cut but all pins still attached so it seems

  6. You got a pic? Ideally against a wall from a distance of like 30ft.

Hi Hodaka, Ill get a pic tomorrow, thats how i set the HIDs up, 30ft from wall then 26" hot line... but it was doing it before i set the hids level... they are new headlights from the usa ...

  7. Too much store in "Full service History" with all the stamps..... I know of 2 unscrupulous persons.... and no definately not friends...... who have had their own "Dealer stamp" made up ..... Fortunately not Nissan, but its the way they ensure the cheap cars they buy in, go out with a full service history.

They know my feelings on the matter. Always worth doing your own thing for peace of mind, regardless if its needed or not, you at least then know its been done, ticked the box and its good for some time to come.

Exactly my sentiments buyin any car, since i bought the the car i keep a log and dates with Receipts when i bought the parts and when fitted...

  8. Bought my Z August 31st no service history, Decided before i put it on the road, Undersealed, Changed Headlights, HID bulbs/ballasts/Engine Oil/Engine Filter/Diff Oil/Gearbox Oil/Clutch/Flywheel/ Front NI Bumper/Rear Chargespeed Bumper/ Radiator/ Rubber Mounts/Recording Front Camera/Reverse Camera/Gear Knob/ etc... Most wasnt needed but i kinda like peace of mind and personal choice.

  9. You don't need to worry about a standard flywheel matching up to a standard disc. Is the disc standard?

In any case, fate has presented you with an opportunity here, don't put that dual mass crap back in. Get yourself a lightweight flywheel, the car feels so much more alive.

If you're a safe quality kind of person, go for a Fidanza from one of the vendors on here. If you're a cheapskate pioneer like myself, I got this one, and I'm extremely happy with it. It was cheaper still when I bought it a few months ago, he's put the price up. I paid $127. It;s a great flywheel, not too heavy, not too light, nicely in the middle, and almost no chatter. This mated perfectly to my oem replacement exedy 350z clutch disc which was also installed new at the same time. My clutch is pure awesomeness now. While you have the gearbox off, you are going to replace the disc, too, right?

Here';s the flywheel I bought, exact same one from exact same seller, just more expensive now for some reason.

And this is the clutch I bought in case you wanted a cheap one of those as well that will definitely work 100% with the flywheel. These are for stock power of course, you didn't say if you had a turbo or something...

Less than 500 quid total brand new clutch and flywheel replacement that will give BETTER performance than the oem. Not bad. :)

Hi, Thanks for your reply, i bought an Exedy clutch, but didnt go for the single flywheel as i didnt think i would like the rattle too much at idle, Garage was worried that if i didnt buy the nissan flywheel it wouldn maybe match up to the Exedy Clutch hence the reason for my question, anyhow bought the LUK dual mass, have an Evo that i use also use and thats for fun where the Roadster i have bought is for a more refined driving :teeth:...

  10. Hi all, Need a little advice, bought an Exedy 3 part clutch for my 350z roadster as clutch was slipping , but garage said flywheel has to be renewed as its knacked.. can i fit a 350z LUK flywheel or does it have to be a certain flywheel as the garage mentioned something about maybe not matching up to the Exedy clutch if that makes sense.

    Thanks for any advice
