Depends if you have true coilovers or separate spring and damper on the back.
If the latter then no you don't need them.
I have just bought BC Racing coilovers with the separate spring!

Having my BC coilovers, sway bars, Adjustable camber and toe arms fitted at the garage today. Mechanic had a few problems as he is not familiar with the zed set up. I think I have cocked up on ordering toe arms as they won't fit with the rear coilovers. Is this correct?
A= camber arm
B= Toe arm
Also can anyone ID this bush as it needs replacing?
Many thanks in advance

I have a 2013 copy from eBay I know longer need. PM me and I'll send for free. :-)
P.S. The 2013 version was the last update Nissan did.

Ok, looks like I will go with the bonnet cowl from Stillen but still need a solution for the bonnet strut. Looks like it may have to be the fabrication route.

Looking for the above 2 items if anyone knows of either in the UK
Have you tried asking Adrian@Torqen or Chris@Tarmac Sportz?
Both of whom AFAIK deal with Stillen products so would be able to source both parts I'm sure.
I've spoke to Chris but not Adrian as yet. Stillen don't have any struts in stock and are not making anymore. They have the bonnet cowls but the shipping is prohibitive.

This is the best dyno on the (above) Stillen SC 350 I could find online. Torque is pretty steady at approx. 300 lbft. As you can see the BPH is low and only at 7psi. Apparently once he put HFC (instead of race pipes) and an Uprev tune it was running at 400BHP (8.5psi at pulley)

Thanks for the info Jetpilot. Maybe I need to try a different V3
-
any particular reason why you want full boost in low/mid?
The V3 350 I tried was such a late boost (5000rpm). Just didn't seem beneficial for road use and I'm not intending to track my car. Don't need full boost low/mid (potential to damage engine) but some would be good. Just want to compare the two systems at this stage. Plus I do love the Stillen whine too ;-)

Are we not talking about the stillen twin screw supercharger for the 350?
Yes the Stillen roots charger for the 350 DE. Not the Stillen/Vortec one for the HR or 370.
The one above in the YT video is the first evidence of one in the UK I've seen!
-
Ok still trying to find someone in the UK that has or had a Stillen S/C for a DE. Found this one: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale/151090-400bhp-super-drift-spec-supercharged-350z.html . Does anyone know of the owner or a previous owner please?

I have been thinking about this too. I'd be interested in one (depending on cost).

As I understand it tints are illegal but the mesh Fly Eyes are not. They definitely block out more than the 5% of light the suppliers say. Still they are cheap so there's not a lot to loose and I've not has any problems with any melting. http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/

Anyone in the Chard area today with an 05 black zed. Spotted a couple of times today. Not many of us in south Somerset.

According to Haynes, small cracks across the belt should not be an issue. As long as the cracks aren't linear or the grooves aren't chewed up.

Thanks for the input guys. Any more opinions welcome. I have Pm'd George B, so hope to hear back from him soon.

Best sounding one going, sadly not so good for power and install
You don't get anywhere near the power of a Vortech and it doesn't fit under the bonnet so you will need to buy the cowl or bonnet or cut a hole in the bonnet, Vortech is the one to go for
Hi Chris - yes I did email you a few weeks ago. As above the Vortec is not what I'm looking for as got to test drive one. The boost didn't kick in to close to 5000rpm! Need something with a boost at low to mid revs but would like to try before I buy! Plus it sounds great from the YT vids I have looked at. I have a grinder so I'm happy to cut up that lovely Seibon CF bonnet you sold me ;-)
-
Thinking of going FI on by Rev-up 350z and was wondered if any UK zedders have the Stillen system?
I know these are not so popular but I tried a Vortec zed and found the boost comes too far up the revs for what I'm looking for. Would be great to see one for myself before deciding on which direction to take.
