Hardback 207 pages although not had chance to read it yet have flipped through and has some great photos and details in it about both 300ZX and 350z, I think they are quite rare as fetching silly money in USA it was originally £34-99 U.K. does not say when first published but the publishers are www.veloce.Co.U.K. Or www.velocebooks.com

I wish 1966 was DOB but sadly 16 years in wrong direction 🤫

Whoever added me to the Japfest list thank you. 🤗

Have booked paid and even printed off the ticket which is something of an achievement at my age although no idea how to add to the list lol, it’s certainly something to look forward to in 2022. Talking of age maybe we should run a competition to see who is oldest club member to be driving a 350z and I mean driving not stuck in a garage and only appearing at such events I think I would be in with a good shout. 😂

looks like you had a good turnout despite the appalling conditions we had a Tornado here literally ripping trees out and across roads had no damage apart from a lot of my neighbours Walnut tree leaves across garden, I seem to recognise that blue GTR I think I saw it traveling at speed around Silverstone at Japfest is the owners name James

I agree the weather is not predictable at present although rain has been the order of the day down here this week and the forecast for Evesham tomorrow is heavy rain however quite often before the festive season bah humbug you get that autumn cold but sunny dry days you know the ones when the suns so low you cannot see a bloody thing so maybe another event could be organised although I very much appreciate it’s someone else doing all the organising. Good luck for tomorrow.

Hi Dave unless the weather shows a marked sign of changing I am going to give tomorrow a miss which is disappointing, drizzling fine but tomorrow is forecast the “Full Noah”

All new club members should be advised that wet weather gear is essential for one of Davey’s organised club meets 🌧💨⛄️☔️🤷♂️😝

View this email in your browser ULEZ - Ace Cafe London is NOT in the Zone!
On 25 October 2021, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) expanded from central London up to (but not including) the North Circular and South Circular roads.
The new zone is 18 times the size of the central London zone and now covers 3.8 million people.
The ULEZ is central to the Mayor of London’s plans to improve Londoners’ health. It will clean up the city’s toxic air, which leads to the early deaths of thousands of people every year.
Most vehicles driving in the ULEZ must meet tight emission standards or pay the daily charge.
The ULEZ is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round (except Christmas Day).
To check whether your vehicle is liable to the ULEZ charge look here
To check on individual post codes look here.
Ace Cafe London is NOT within the ULEZ - but if you travel to or from the Ace Cafe from within the North Circular or South Circular Road , you could be liable to pay.Copyright © 2020 ACE CAFE LONDON LTD All rights reserved.

Despite the outrageous early start and usual forecast of dampness as per your usual meet I should be there.

Although a bit damp great day out and all credit to Davey for organising these events I did manage to avoid a cold bacon bun but made up for it in the Museum Cafe.

Looks like you all had a great day and well done to Dave for organising it all, sorry to have not made it but truthfully Japfest previous day left me a bit short on time, but any further meetings will be on my list of to do.

Agree with all the previous comments brilliant day shame we could not get all the Zs on the stand as we could have had at 3 if not 4 full rows.
I have an apology to make I stated I hoped to get to the Motor Museum tomorrow but sadly cannot I know Davey does a brilliant job of organising these meets so sorry but hope everyone has a great day. -
Yes had mine as well just need to get up early enough to be there before 9-30am 😴

I have also managed to over tighten mine to the point when it clicks and it goes slack and you think oh no, tried tightening it to a tight spot and seemed ok but checked yesterday and it had managed to loosen itself, called down the local Nissan dealership which truthfully virtually never used for a new cap and discovered that looking at the parts diagram there is a second part to it which is separate called a seal which you cannot see from the top when cap off obviously only visible once you have removed the plastic cover. Have ordered that as well coming from the Netherlands strangely but on the face of it that could be the part which threads have gone if so then the comments about plastic cap stripping a metal thread may not be strictly accurate, the only issue I can see is that the strengthening bar needs to be removed to get at one of the bolts holding the top cover on 🤷♂️

Strangely I have just been looking at secondhand ones for sale on different websites such as Piston Heads and others and prices range hugely I actually found a black 2004 coupe with 15,844 miles on clock advertised for £18,000. I bought mine in May 2016 from a specialist car dealership in Weybridge for £10,000 they wanted £11,000 it was 1 owner with 26000 miles on the clock I have now done 53,000 and it is my daily driver all year around and stands outside most of the time the only issue I have had was a new lower suspension arm bush collapse and was due to to NCC highways never filling in potholes. Mine is a September 2006 model so has the larger engine but also comes with the high road tax charge and is a GT model so comes with leather electric seats, Brembo brakes, Rays Alloys, parking sensors etc. I spent a long time looking for one on websites and I wanted a low mileage fewer the number of owners the better and unmodified and found exactly what I wanted and have never regretted buying it. The best of luck in finding one.
