  1. Fuel pressure isn't worth knowing, but oil temp is: If you're going dual, then the oil pressure/temp is the one to get. I've not looked at those kits you mention, but really all you should need is just to tap in to the system at the relevant points using the basics and then wire the kit to the sensor. I wouldn't have thought you need 350-specific hardware. Thanks for the heads up mate im still quite new to this . tbh the oil pressure/ oil temp gauge is a good £40 cheaper than than oil/fuel gauge so thats a bonus too
  2. this is where the hose has come off mate (on pic taken from google) tbh from looking at google pics i think the banjo is still attached to the slave and its the black rubber hose thats separated from the banjo . also there is a thin 1" nipple sticking out of the slave where i pushed the hose back on.....i think this was possibly permanently attached at one point Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. cheers Gassy for explaining that in layman's terms ...i understand the process alot better now mate
  4. thanks Tricky .no not fitted the stop tech slave or braided hose yet as still on way to me from Adrian. and oh damn there was no banjo on slave side of hose ....just a black hose with an open end (like a vacuum pipe). cant for the life of me think what's broke it off tho other than the jolt of hitting the curb. do you think fitting a small jubilee clip to the hose where it attaches to the slave would be sufficient to get the pedal pressurised so i can get the car drivable to get to garage?
  5. okay i need to bleed the existing system to get the pedal working enough to get the car to the garage for new slave cylinder fitting along with brake hoses. 2 problems .... is there a link to bleed clutch system by your self? and is there any detailed pics of how the original rubber hose connects to the slave? iv pushed mine back on but theres no retainer clip etc and im worried it blows off under pressure . any help appreciated guys as iv never done this and am unfamiliar with the process
  6. just checked them out and really like the SPA duel oil pressure/fuel pressure gauge. they also seem very accurate for a LED type gauge . from the looks of the kit i assume i would have to purchase adapter plates specific to the 350z for the sensors to screw into yes?
  7. cheers Ekona ill look into them ...and yea im a sucker for LED but would rather have precision over looks when its something as important as engine parameters
  8. okay sorry to butt in but im very interested in this aftermarket oil pressure device thats more reliable than the standard one . i too think my oil pressure gauge is temperamental and would like one fitted . any ideas on brand and best place to buy please
  9. cheers tricky ..iv got a new slave and braided line on the way from Adrian and yea everyone keeps saying the same .even after the crash it drove a half mile then parked up for 2 hours before i moved it again to a pub carpark 400 yards further for the night . everything was fine untill i tryed moving it yesterday and didnt hit anything under the car to cause it to snap off . could the impact on the curb cause the engine to violently move causing the pipe to start coming off?
  10. okay guys found the problem with the clutch fluid reservoir been empty .....the rubber pipe had came/snapped off the nipple on the slave reattached it and filled resovouir to max ...pumped pedal 30 times twice but it wouldn't pressurise so dnt know ?.
  11. No problem wilo. Hopefully you'll get your Zed issues all sorted soon enough though as you've not had much luck lately which sucks I know. cheers GM im going to jack the car up and drop a bit of motul 660 in the resovouir and see if the slaves leaking when i pump the clutch pedal. fingers crossed it is the slave as iv just ordered one off Adrian along with braided line
  12. no problem mate hope you get it sorted so were both back on the road
  13. haha soz mate ill try think first .tbh i get a bee in my bonnet about problems with the zed then get stressed about uoloading pics etc and forget where the bloody post should go in regards of forum sections . youll probably have to remind me about this again and again though as my memory is duff ...will try tho
  14. no i know how this works mate..i was refreshing for a good 30mins and when alex posted his reply i checked the time stamp on his reply but i couldn't see it on new posts till 30mins after he put it ...tryed finding my post via forum/general and it wasnt anywhere listed
  15. yea already tried the log out log in twice mate. its visable again but for how long i dont know
  16. thx for the pic alex ...is this job easy enough for a novice or are special tools required to change it
  17. thx mate iv just ordered stoptech slave cylinder and cable just incase ....if its anything else the cars going
  18. can a mod please help? my post's keep vanishing and i dont know if anyones replying to my query on the brake/clutch problem
  19. what do i look for mate ..is there a link with pics for noobs See my post #7 sorry mate the forum acting up and your second post wasnt visable till i posted after you.my posts keep vanishing and reappearing too ...weird
  20. what do i look for mate ..is there a link with pics for noobs
  21. just seems to much of a coincidence for the pedal to lose pressure at same time as brakes leaking fluid tho. doesnt the slave cylinder control both pressure for clutch and brakes ? thus leading to pedal failure if non or little brake fluid present in system? . sorry for questions but iv been google the problem and getting conflicting advice
  22. ahh damn so the bust brake hose has nothing to do with the clutch pedal ? how do i fix the problem lads? has something possibly been nocked out of place when i hit the curb ..its weird coz it drove for half a mile fine on the bent rim and the pedal was fine . car was towed back via static arm the next morning and hasn't been touched till I tryed to move it today

  24. okay regarding the crash I had when i curbed the rota alloy and split the braided fron brake hose ..... just gone to move the car in preparation for work to be done and when i pressed clutch pedal to select first gear the pedal dropped and wont return by its self. is this because the clutch and brake systems are linked and because the spilt hose is p1ssing out fluid? i looked at the two reservoirs and the large one is just under max but the smaller one is empty ..will get some pics loaded inna sec
