my recently purchaced zed has 129000 miles and after reading a post about a few zeds giving up at the 130000 mark its got me thinking of planing for a new lower milage engine swap. so my question guys...... would i be able to drop a HR engine in its place as easy as another DE ? Or are there other differences which would make connecting it up alot more money .

yes iv looked there .no ss fine mesh types tho and the sizes offered seem very small for a 300bhp motors air requirements. i used to have a quickshift one on my last two cars and the sound was awesome and even the dyno run improved with it on . cant seem to find that brand anymore .

preferably a twin cone stainless steel mesh type for my 04 DE

iv noticed on my 350 and most of the others i have seen that theres a large rear silencer that the twin tail pipes come from. but recently iv noticed alot of modded 350s that dont have this. my system is a milltek decat and I'm curious as to what benefit some aftermarket systems dont have this. tbh i think the rear silencer is quite unsightly so is it possible buy this mod for my milltek ? or would it effect it negatively in regards to performance .

had the same problem with my old celica .straight through decat system. was flush when cold but stuck out easy half inch longer when warm ..never found the cause and just put it down to heat expansion of the metal ....annoying all the same

Depending on how bad yours is removing it yourself & painting it with Hammerite paint is by far the cheapest way of getting it ship shape again. any idea on cheapest price guys . just had car to garrage on ramps for a check as its a new purchase and only fault was a rotten W brace and a loose pad in near side front brembo .

where abouts are you based and do you know if it will connect to my decat milltek system from decat back? I think mine has APN decats

thanks for all the advise guys .iv adjusted the bonnet catch and the little Black bonnet buffers and the gap has improved slightly but still not perfect so im pretty sure it's a bumper issue .one positive is the bonnet now shuts without applying hulk like force so happy with that

yea iv checked the bolts and there pretty accurate with the holes allowing for maybe 1mm of adjustment.was hoping there was some other way tbh ..but its looking like the bumper might need adjusting ...god knows how tho

does anyone know if there's an android app so i can upload pics of my zed and alter the colour of the alloys to see what would look okay ...the white alloys are to high maintenance :/ ...tia

sorry for the noob questions but if i adjust the catch i cant see how the bonnet will swing as its static on the bonnet hinges and i cant see any allowance for adjustment

hi guys need some advice please . my 350 has had the new style bonnet and nismo v2 spoiler fitted before i bought it . but the gap where the bonnet meets the bumper isnt the same from left to right. is there a way to adjust the bonnet hinges ? as it looks like the offside needs moving towards the front of the car about 5mm

wish I'd held back a week and bought yours now .stunning looking zed

depressing clutch makes no difference and its intermittent .i do have slight thrust bearing noise but this other noise is a deeper louder rattle

only had the had car a week and over the last couple of day's I've noticed that when i turn the car off (80%) of the time I hear a rattle coming from the engine bay . any ideas guys ? only can hear this rattle on turning off engine and no other time

looking for a full stainless system with decats to replace my decatted milltek . needs to be louder than my present system especially at lower revs but still a deep tone not tinny
