  1. Oof, I think you'll find most people don't watch the end of videos. "Pleeeeease subscribe, donate, like, share, comment, check out my facebook, instagram." No mate, I close it as soon as I feel like the end of the video is remotely nearing. Neil clearly does do clickbait because he knew the title was deliberately misleading but would pull in more views for being more edgy and shocking than 'I bought a fairly decent car and I'm going to modify it'. As for the seats comment. Neil said "they're not very good on the road and on the track they're terrible". He's wrong. Just wrong. They're great road seats. I agree that for track use a bucket seat is way better, but I was never contesting that.
  2. Liked the video and the direction you're going with this. But I had to dislike the video because I despise clickbait titles. It was nowhere near the cheapest in the country and probably not even the cheapest in your postcode, and you know it! You have good content, don't ruin it. I also disagree with you on the comment about the seats not being supportive. I find them very supportive! Maybe you need some more meat on your bones to appreciate them.
  3. That wrap colour is real nice The brake calipers were a bold choice but it pulls it off! Good stuff. Why do you call it the pope mobile?
  4. Sorry but the after pics of the headlights look covered in scratches. Also on the passenger side top of the headlight you didn't go deep enough with the coarse sandpaper. Get yourself a 3M headlight restoration kit you use with a drill and do it properly.
  5. Has your MOT expired? (I was being nosey)
  6. http://www.bedfordshire-news.co.uk/search-for-driver-after-audi-tt-ovderturned-in-shortstown/story-29666977-detail/story.html They reported it as an Audi TT but it's an orange 350z with black Rays. Anyone know the car? I have another picture of it attached.
  7. Thanks for the replies but I have what I need now.
  8. I won't be buying anything from you, sir. New message from: emperor-tuning (3,275) Thanks Sir but no thank you. Reply YOU: So that's a no then. 5 pence more expensive, even! Nobody in their right mind would buy a used electronic part direct through PayPal with no eBay return or buyer protection. I offer £30 via eBay. emperor-tuning: EBAY £40 PAYPAL £35 Collected £30 YOU: Will you take £20? Nissan 350Z Heater Control Controller Computer ECU Unit 27760 CF50A FACELIFT
  9. Please reply here or PM me if you have one for sale. Ideally a unit from a facelift 350z as mine is a 2006 facelift. I don't know if that makes a difference though tbh. I will buy a pre-facelift if you have one. Thanks!
  10. Black would look bad on a gunmetal car. The LED ones look trashy af. I would get the clear ones but they are too expensive for what they are. I thought the same colour as the grille would be a good alternative!
  11. The previous owner seems to have tinted the front reflectors which looks a little better I guess, but I'm still not that happy with it. I was thinking of vinyl wrapping them the same colour as the grille which is a sort of dark gunmetal / anthracite colour. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this before? I had a look on eBay for a colour match but found nothing really. Getting a colour match from pictures is going to be tricky anyway. Is there a better way?
  12. Oooo an MK meet! I might be interested! Thanks! No major mods planned. Got a couple of small niggles to fix first. Maybe some Tein lowering springs and wheel spacers soon though.
  13. I dunno, man. The Jaguar XKR is pretty sexy!
  14. Thanks everyone! I feel part of the family now!
  15. Hi everyone! I picked up my first 350z in early May this year and been loving it ever since! Such a great car! It's a 2006 with 114k on the clock but it's in superb condition. I've been lurking on here for a while, sucking up all the knowledge. Figured it was time to show myself! This forum is an awesome resource. I went for a facelift as I think all the little enhancements make a big difference to the look of the car inside and out. The road tax is savage though. The car was treated to a good service when I got it home. All oils, belts, plugs etc. Only a couple of small mods so far including rear wiper delete, stubby aerial, white led's where necessary, 8000k hid bulbs and a carbon gear knob. The car had a couple of issues when I got it. A knocking from the suspension, which I figured out was the banana arms (thanks 350z-uk! ) and the climate control blower doesn't work. I haven't been able to figure that one out yet. The banana arms were an absolute PITA to replace! 3 grinding discs and half a day later, they came off! Holy hell, never again. I had a 1999 Mitsubishi FTO for almost 6 years before this. Has anyone else here come from an FTO? I did love that car but it was getting a little old and had too many little problems that needed too much money spending on them, so I figured it was upgrade time! The 350z is in another league really. An upgrade in every way. Here are a couple of pics of my old FTO and my 350z. I know we all love pics!
