  1. March 2016 mate. Although weren't fitted til the May of that year. Not sure exactly when the deformation started to occur, but is odd that it has happened to both front and rear. Discount would be excellent. Will send you a PM at some point. Appreciate your help. Cheers.
  2. Hi Asad, have bought these before from you and looking at replacing with another set. My only issue is that over time they seem to have developed a bubbling. Not sure if it is the lacquer or the satin silver which has bubbled. Is there something I can use on them prior to fitting to prevent this from happening? Or have I just been unlucky and gotten a bad batch? Cheers.
  3. Had my car in recently getting a respray and decided to get the fangs and rear section between exhaust tips painted satin black. Had seen a few pics of similar, but was unsure if I would like finished article. Really pleased with the result and the contrast of the satin black with the lovely new glossy red looks great IMO. Anyway, here is a couple pics...
  4. 2nd in line. Will take them as a bundle assuming that the floor mats are a) stitched and b ) the eyelets are the 10mm diameter
  5. Just to confirm, mat has been allocated to jimmy.farrow7 and will be sent hopefully on Friday.
  6. Apologies admin for not following the rules on earlier post and I hope this will show that I do indeed have the item in my possession. As I say, I have no problem sending first once I discover how much postage will be.
  7. Jimmy was first to pounce lol. As far as buyer beware lol, I don't mind posting first since I am a newbie around these parts. PM on its way Jimmy.
  8. Hi there, I recently purchased a boot mat to replace my 370Z mat, but the company sent the wrong item. Turns out it appears to be a 350Z mat. I was refunded and told just to keep the item, but obviously I have no use for it and it is just taking up space for no reason. So I would like to offer it up to any of you chaps for free. I live in Central Scotland (FK area) if anyone wants to collect. Or alternatively I will send it via post or a courier if you can stump up merely the postage costs. It is a brand new mat, plain black with no 350Z logo. So might come in handy to someone looking for a replacement. As you can see in pic, the shape is (from what I can tell the same as 350 mat), my 370 mat is on top. Cheers, Steve
  9. Ok cheers for that. Will go out and have a look and then contact my local Nissan dealer at some point if required.
  10. I assume Nissan UK would keep a record of all the cars that have had the recall work carried out? As I am not the original owner and I certainly can't see any documentation in my owners manual/ maintenance record or the fix being carried out. My VIN is a very early 1 and before that. It is actually a 01 prefix.
  11. So without reading through all pages, is there any way to identify if my car has had the fix? Would I just contact a local Nissan dealer and give them my VIN and they would be able to look up the history? Mines a 2009 so a very early car.
  12. So whos bright idea at Nissan UK was it to discontinue these and presumably make the transfer logo ones the new OEM? Talk about making your brand appear cheap and nasty! I assume the eyelets being 20mm is now standard also, which again are incompatible with my car.
  13. CMS? Clarke Motor Sports? Cheers
  14. Not good news! Have those been from a genuine Nissan dealer at all? I would happily even just have a set of plain mats, rather than an awful transferred logo which looks cheap and nasty frankly. But obviously the mats have to be compatible with the 10mm retention clip!
  15. Hi there, had my Z for a year now and ever since I bought it I realised the locking mechanism was broken. I am doing a few bits n pieces to the car and figure I may as well get this sorted. Does anyone have any idea if this is a potential DIY job or is access to it extremely difficult. The mechanism itself appears still to work as you can see it moving, it is just that the plastic latching piece has snapped. So, how much is the part and how much are Nissan going to want to charge me? I can always take it to a good independent near my place of work if someone could be kind enough to give me a part number so that I can source it. I recently fixed my sticking boot issue, by removing the springs and instead of using pennies for fear of damaging bodwork (unlikely I know), I inserted some felt furntiture pads. This seems to have worked as having 100% success thus far.
  16. Thanks mate, but just gona return them and see if I can get some proper genuine replacements. Don't get me wrong, the mats seemed good quality but the transfer and not the stitched logo would just get to me lol.
  17. Just in case anyone else is looking for any similar items, I found this place. Little bit expensive it would appear (or maybe just comparing it to cheap aftermarket tat on ebay), but everything appears to be genuine. Will likley order from here, unless anyone else can give me any other sources at better prices. http://nissan-370z.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/categories/model=294/category=ROOT-interior
  18. Thanks. Will have look and possibly purchase (bit expensive). The current mat in my car doesn't have 370Z logo and is quite thin so I am assuming it was a replacement. I have heard there is a thicker mat which helps cut out some of the road noise (which doesn't really bother me tbh), but if a thicker mat does indeed exist, I may as well purchase that. Can anyone confirm?
  19. Yes. The boot mat was bought from premiercarmats, which looks to be ebay store for Premier Products. Will return item as not described. I messaged them yesterday, but as yet no reply. Gary from Desira, where I bought the floor mats, replied almost instantly, to his credit. Although I am dubious as to his claim about them being genuine Nissan mats.
  20. Apologies, this has been posted in wrong section, mods please lock and/ or delete and I will post again in 370Z interior section.
  21. As far as the boot mat is concerned, here is a pic of what they sent (different company). The replacement is underneath the current mat, which is a bit worse for wear. As you can clearly see, the shape is completely different and as such doesnt fit down properly around the wheel arches.
  22. Hi there looking for wee bit of help in sourcing some new mats and boot mat for a 2009 370 for good price. I ordered some from ebay, but lo and behold they were both not suitable. The floor mats had the 370Z logo as a transfer instead of stitched, and the holes for fixing to the clips were 20mm diameter instead of the 10mm on my OEM mats (I assume they are OEM), so didnt fix to the clips. Can someone confirm that the holes should be 10mm as the fella replied to ebay message stating the following: "Hello Steve, sorry to hear there is a problem, You are welcome to return the mats for a refund. Nissan used to sell these mats with the embroided logo but the part number now superceed and they have like a felt type transfer as the logo. But they should still fit in the same way and the holes should match up ok. They are genuine Nissan mats. If you use the ebay return system then it will print you a label. Best Regards, Gary" Here is a pic of the difference, the replacement on the left:
