  1. As far as I was aware the milltek system is y pipe back no?? Looking at other sites you need the cat back and also to buy the milltek separately?
  2. About to maybe go for a system for the zed. Will consist of japspeed decats, cobra y pipe and milltek cat back.... I know the milltek is one of the quieter systems but what's everyone's thoughts with the above combination? Volume/rasp/drone etc Thanks

  6. Small update Fitted a pop charger today. Picked it up off member on here as I've heard good reports of them and build quality is second to none. Before After. Please excuse mad colours lol camera phone on last legs. Manufacturers quote at 5-10hp gains which I very much doubt. I do feel the car has a smoother pull but that could all be in my head... or butt... maybe both I'm happy with noise and the heat shield that properly does shield filter from exhaust down pipes. fitting took 40 minutes and I'm more than pleased with my first mod lol on lookout for spacers now lol.... comments welcome

Simplest way to tell is this: Look at your RPM gauge ~ if the redline is at 6.5K rpm then it's a DE, if the redline is at 7K rpm then it is a RevUp DE, if the redline is at 7.5K rpm then it is a HR. The bonnet bulge as mentioned by SHEZZA is most likely a mod that a previous owner has done as they are found on the HR variant. Thanks for reply. From looking at my picture can u tell if it's a pre or face-lift front bumper? Looking to sort a front lip but unsure as some list 06 as preface lift and other list 06 as face-lift??

  15. Picked this up last week and am quickly seeing why they are so popular. Its a 2006 GT model with 44k on it. The service history was what drew me to it and that is was pretty unmessed with. Wheels have been referbed in gloss black with touch of flake in it. Thinking of going anthracite instead long term. Love the noise and handling of the car, big powerful lump, and for those who say they are slow, they must be used to big big power cars cause this feels every part of 300bhp lol.   17. Recently picked up the detachable Bluetooth dongle for the 350z. My Sony z3 pairs up ok, saves numbers etc. When I go to dial it recognises the name and the after I say 'dial' it just replies 'number dialed' and then the radio comes back on.... Any ideas? It's an android phone running latest os thanks.

  20. I apologise if this has came across wrong way. I do track days and involved in motorsports and also motoring clubs etc I was on an industrial Road where I work and was playing with tc function and getting to know the car. I was testing the clutch as I was working through the potential problem areas, clicking axel, cd skipping gas struts.etc. I did a low speed run in high gear to check slip but then over did it slightly on testing at high rpm. Thus the concern. Please Don't mistake me for an empty head who blasts on public roads as this seriously isn't the case.

  22. Collected my first 350z last night. 2006 manual with 44k on it. Totally love the car and does everything I could ever want. Did all the checks etc and seems a good car. Tonight was first night I had tc switch off and jus T pulling out of a junction I dipped clutch built revs to approx 5k and dropped clutch. The pedal stayed in against carpet and car hardly moved. Followed buy the lovely smell of cooked clutch. I've had big hp motors before and never had issues with this method etc. Where revs too high or Am I showing symptoms of clutch/slave cylinder failure?? Thanks
