  1. If they go "up to" the rubbers it will start to lift as the car moves and twist, the pillars will move a tad and the rubber will peal up the wrap, make sure they go under the rubber by at least 3mm or more
  2. Hahaha give me a rev next time so i know its you always there around that sort of time
  3. The 2 squeedgey way works perfect, i got 6-7mm of wrap under each rubber, just wrap the roof as normal, all the way up to the edge of the rubber closest to the pillar and cut along the edge of the pillar, start from the back. Lift with one squeedgey and press with the other i did my roof quicker than the time it takes to strip the pillars
  4. Actually with abit of thought and a careful hand u dont need to remove anything to wrap the roof. I did mine and didnt remove anything and its all under the rubbers. U just need 2 squeedgeys one running in front to lift up the rubber. One just behind to press the wrap, i got 7mm of cover on each side, and 5mm on the front rubber

    tyre decision

Probs put well over 1000 miles on my rainsports 3s, still love them, but agreed. Abit soft, but oodles of grip, then i got them all in under 400quid in standard rays sizes
  6. Wrapped mine, took me all over 30mins max, then did the roof in gloss back aswell, really sets it off on a azure zed check my instagram, carmeleonwraps

I just put some rainsport 3s on mine, good grip, extremely good in heavy rain, just find them a tad squidgey on the sidewalls, but once your used to it then its all good, take all i throw at them
  8. Stealth is the idea so was the max volume of the stock location just needed to make sure i was right about the wiring kit
  9. Ahhh i thought fibreglass would be easyer, just paint and matt up the inside of the opening im not a purist, i just want better than it is, but without going into hundreds and hundreds and without tearing my whole car apart lol
  10. I looked into the airfree subs, tempted to try and fibreglass out the internal stock enclosure to air seal it and see how it sounds
  11. I am tempted, was more tempted to amp just the rears, once ive sounded deaded the doors it should be fine, had a modifed mr2 roadster which ran just a headinit and vibe slick 6s in the door, by the time id done the sound deadening i didnt even need the sub haha
  12. Getting pioneer cant remember the model, its the one with the faceoffsatnav/dvd/tv/bluetooth/rev cam etc, think ill probs just get some vibe black airs front and rear, small mono block and sub in the factory places, i dont want my car shaking to pieces with bass but the stock bose is shite, was thinking of upgrading the cables, but i wasnt planning on amping the doors or rears so didnt think id have to??
  13. Morning all!!! Done abit of reading around on here about aftermarket headunits and bit, so silly question, im replacing everything, head unit, front and rears, sub and amp, so do i a iso cable thats for non bose or for bose? Is the cable due to wiring or just because its got a bose set up?? Surely if i rip out the bose i dont need a bose cable lol
  14. Will the grill fit a 53 plate preface??? I gather thats what you mean by a De? If so ill have that please

  19. Heeeyy people, was scanning through looking at paints to touch up my azure 53plate, i looked at some sites mentioned on here, but just wondered if anyone had any other site?? Think i need one can, not even that lol got a scuff on the front and rear bumper i want to blow in, and sone stone chips to deal with lol cheers people!!
  20. I kinda miss mine, was such a cool car, but the roar of the zed makes me smile more every time i hear it did learn so much from the roadster tho!! Shame it went to the scrapyard in the sky
  21. My mr2 was a stop gap, firstly to see if i could live with rear wheel drive on a daily basis, 140bhp with no traction control, and under a ton is fun it has to be said, mid engines are very forgiving tho, never spun out so learnt alot from that, and secondly to practice modifying, learning to fit bodykits, fibreglassing, filling, spraying, wrapping, always planned on getting the zed, but wanted something cheap to play with, ended up with a stunning little head turner of a car
  22. I was never a fan of the Mk3, I always preferred the Mk1 or Mk2 but that's actually quite nice! Took me 6months of work to get it looking like that, all work done by me aswell which gave me the proud feeling The body kit fitting, the wrapping etc, always made me smile when looked at it till some **** in a transit drove into the back of me at a red light....
