The wheels look great with a awesome concave to fill the arches. Nice choice Paul

The yellow looks great and really stands out. Did you go for a heritage Ltd edition I've seen they just released?
-
Love the purple, I did the wheels on my old daily in that and the paint is still looking good 2 years on, a really nice purple. Looking forward to seeing it bud on Sunday

I use auto finesse tripple 3 and finale, last week I used madcow purity glaze and it filled all the micro scratches and still a week on the paint looks like glass

Stands look great, really looking forward to this, and with the great weather hopefully no snow like last year.
Andy the car looks a little dirty, have to get your misses to give a polish ;-D
Be great to see everyone after a long 6 months of winter

- Genuine Nismo spoiler
- Carbon spoiler
- Apr or esprit type spoiler
Please pm me, needed asap, don't mind if it's been painted as I'll respray it for japfest.

I drove Europe, Nurburgring and track days last year had no issues, I have bought a oil cooler kit ready to fit but will wait till my service. You'll be fine without it.

In preparation for spring action day yesterday I spent the week stripping and paint the calipers, fitting a bonnet lift kit and got a new reg í ½í¸.
Bonnet lift kit apparently the only one available but didn't fit, after alot of measuring, trimming, shaping and a lick of paint the hinge kit was fitted and working spot on.
After many many hours, 3 deep cleans and a machine polish the car was at spring action day yesterday on show and shine, got a lot of positive feedback and photos, feeling good for this years show season.

I flushed my number plate holes by applying masking tape to the front of the bumper nice and tight, fibreglassed from behind so got a good shape and flush, rubbed down and skimmed with filler I've got images in my 370Z build thread, only took a couple of hours.

As long as it stays a black you'll be fine on insurance. You could paint if any standard colour clear over base, metallic or pearl and as long as you change the v5 colour and know the colour code and scheme it's not normally a problem for a insurance claim. Only problem is if you go to non standard colour like flip or house of candy paint and it's not available through a normal paint scheme like ppg.

P15UL T when you paint the caliper are you using water based? I'm gonna paint mine next weekend at work and have enough water based in a specific colour paint for the job.
Cheers for the advice.

Finishing the engine bay off, I've been looking at purples for the past couple of weeks to paint the engine cover, I found a Porsche custom colour on the GT3RS and GT4, after a call to a friend in my local Porsche bodyshop I had the colour, I also painted the lettering on the cowl covers, fitted anodised bolts and spent the day giving it a deep clean and Auto Finesse trim care rub down.
Wanting to get rid of some of the silver in the interior, I spent a couple of hours with a hairdryer and very warm fingers wrapping several trim parts and the slam panel cover in 5D carbon fibre.
Now doing little touches getting ready for show and shine at spring action day next month.

I'm trying to buy tickets to. I've set up a account on castle Coombe, added 350ZUK in organisation, but it only lists 'individual display pass (non club) or adult pass, I can't see club pass.
When selecting club stands on another page it only goes to Ford fair to registered the club as a secretary.
Is there a option I'm missing or do I select non-club show pass for £15 and it will be ok as I have 350ZUK in my organisation?
Cheers

Morning all
Short notice but is the club doing showing at spring action day?
