  2. hey guys, basically what the title says, Looking for the connector for the crankshaft positioning sensor. on mine the wires have pulled out of the connector, would require a tail of wire on the connector so i can rejoin it to mine. maybe someone has a buggered loom they could snip it off. I'm located in the north of scotland. Cheers.

  3. My mates mum is a upholsterer and there's a few upholstery companys in my area so not really looking for someone to do it just ideas of colours and if anyones got red. or if its better to dye them other than a full retrim.

  4. I currently have orange seats.. the gearknob is being changed and the handbrake will be too and my wheel will be going to royalsteeringwheels for a retrim but I'm pondering weather to get red stitching on the wheel as my seat bolsters are getting a bitty ropey.. nothing major but a good excuse for a re-trim, right? haha!

I'm thinking of a deep red leather like what you get in some bmw's

has anyone done this or have any nice pictures of red leather that could give me some ideas?.

here's what i have in mind.

  5. decided to have another bash at rolling my arches.. one down one to go. took me about an hour and a half, the cars on stands so will need to put it down on the deck once the other side is done to check if they need any more to finish them off.. lots of heat and patience is the key haha

  6. some progress on the z. gonna be a busy week.. work then home to prep and paint bike parts for my uncle and then crack on and get the z primed. hopefully my mate is going to service it for me this weekend too and my stillen y pipe and berks hfc's should be in too so hopefully the new system will be fitted too.

also received my steering wheel from atomic350z and emailed royalsteeringwheels about a re-trim.

  7. mines now fittting "ok" but took heaps of grinding and sanding and faffing about. just hope when i paint the bumper and splitter the bond i use can hold it in place as theres a gap along it before the grill opening.

  8. Hahaa definitely not as simple as a few self tappers thats for sure unless ive been unlucky and got a lip completely out of shape. Ill get it to fit eventually just takes time

  9. This white z is making my bank account twitch!

having a headache with my mines style front lip!... spent an hour tonight sanding bits here and there to get it to sit on the bumper better.. slowly getting there but what a nip having to sand then refit then remove and sand again haha. hopefully another hour or two and i should have it sitting perfect.. i want to take the tension off of it that it has when its on the bumper as with it being frp i'm scared the tension on it will make it crack eventually. the bumper itself might get some sanding too.

  10. delivery from rt performance arrived today!

spoiler seems to sit pretty spot on will need some good bond, either tiger seal or sikaflex and same for the mines style lip. the lip will need some shaping in the middle where it meets the bumpers grill.
