  1. wouldnt say they price on this is too high but i just think the zeds are in a funny age gap just now where their not worth all that much especially 04 ones.. mine is an 04 76k miles no history! i payed 4250 for mine last january. the no history played a big part in how cheap i got it and the respray it had was pretty poor. I think the issue is that its a small market of people who want a coupe and want a 3.5litre car as most want dervs these days. i'm sure this will sell eventually, nice subtle mods to it and like someones said could always sell the aftermarket parts separate then sell the car standard but eventually someone who wants a modded zed but doesnt want to mod it themselves will come along and snap this one up. glws.

  2. So i finally got a mint set of dc2 integra recaros in red like i wanted. Im now needing rails. i was going to order ones from m2motorsport but their for side mounted seats and mine are bottom mounted. i'd like sliders on these too as im short so can't have the seats fixed solid. anyone know who does bottom mount seat rails for the 350z?

  3. Second episode was background noise as i looked for parts for my z.. the vulcan was good.. the rest was crap. It feels really rushed at times in the studio.. i didnt watch the last 10 minutes.. i was bored to death with that whole military queen bullsh**t

  4. Do the 350s have buttons to operate the washers?? Mine work only when i use the window wipers. Mine is a 04 de so maybe the hrs have a seperate button. And yeah bottle and everything will be removed so none the wiser. And as for the reflectors being smoothed and looking like something is missing i wont be just filling in the hole this will be full on fill the hole then smooth over the front bringing the filler/fiberglass flush with the rest of the bumper.. hard to explain exactly how i plan it but when i start it i will have pics uploaded. Still not sure what best way to go about it weather its mesh and fiberglass/plastic filler or plastic welding.. need to get bumper off and see what type of plastic its made with.

  5. Has anyone deleted their front bumper reflector holes? i'm planning flushing out the headlight washers on mine cause they bug the crap out of me and they never sit right i also feel they ruin the flow of any bumper on any car. Was looking at the car the other day and wondered if anyone had blanked out the reflectors too as they're pretty pointless really..

this would be a case of heating the bumper up from the back and pushing the plastic thats folded in towards the back of the bumper or cutting it off not 100% sure yet what best way would be to go about it. then either fiberglassing or plastic welding the holes. alot of work but i need to respray my bumper anyways and being a painter its not gonna cost me alot of £ just time.

  6. basically what the title says, looking for recommendations on what photoshop people are using. i'd use it mainly for changing things on cars, colour of parts, change of wheels etc. i do have a nikon dslr camera and from time to time take pictures of other things than cars so an all rounder would be ideal.

  7. i'm running a isis (isr) performance single exit at the minute. will be getting the car mapped hopefully in January. thinking about getting the middle box removed and replaced with a straight pipe. would this cause any issues with backpressure etc?

  8. handy tip... anything can be fixed when it comes to paint jobs.. dont be afraid of the gun. get a scrap panel like you say and just play with the gun, have a look on google for spray patterns this helps you get the right pattern incase the gun is needing cleaned more otherwise u can end up with bottom heavy top heavy etc..

also when i'm using devilbiss i always turn my needle knob, which is the second knob down when holding the gun in your hand so basically the knob thats above your hand, all the way in, keep in mind where the mark on it is and turn it out 3 full turns, some people maybe do it different but can look this all up online, i just find this is a good set up for devilbiss guns.

  9. hey exec, I'm a spray painter and i'd say your probably choosing the wrong thing to practice on as wheels are difficult to paint especially when your just learning, usually why people get them powder coated, not only that but its mainly getting your prep work right as if this isn't correct then your paintwork will suffer.

gun wise personally i hate mini jets as they're a waste of time and money imo. get yourself a decent second hand devilbiss gti pro, makes all the difference having a quality made gun to do the job. 1.3mm needle is what i'd recommend. this does depend on weather your going to start painting more than just a few set of wheels, if you dont want to spend alot of cash get a cheap sealey gun see how you get on and if you do ok and enjoy it then get a devilbiss.
